yeah I agree she is my next planned path to play Charlotte is still my favorite. Just cant decide if I replay the game now or wait for Part 2. Was originally gonna wait for Part 2 to play the update but idk if I can wait anymore one of my favorite games after all lol.
it's just 1/2 of the update. DB didn't finish in time or something so released 1/2 of it instead of not releasing an update I believe.

Quick summary for you guys. DB is getting burnout. Iirc, he had some irl problems with family or something. Then he is getting tired of creating this game, since it's been 4 years. You can feel this within last a few updates anyway. So he is taking a break and hoping to come out with a plan so he can finish his job without getting burnout and stay loyal to his initial idea.
Now, cut him some slack because anyone's creative juice can run out after focusing on something for 4 years. Cool?

this right here and honestly it never felt like DB took that long of a break when DB had some bad IRL news. So not a surprise DB need an actual real break.

It's not copium though. We can see the dev getting tired of it but there is an explanation about it. Getting some time off, creating a plan how to deal with it etc. and we choose to believe it. Is there a possibility of this game getting abandoned? yes like all the other games, there is. Is there a possibility of not getting same quality? There is, because anyone can run out of creativity. But believing the explanation does not make this copium. That's exactly what I am saying though. As you say, it's just one incident for us or the beginning for you. Not losing hope for something so early does not make it copium. Copium would be trying to make up excuse for already lost cause. There is nothing lost here, yet. We can take another position depending on how it will unfold but going on full toxic mode at this stage is not the right attitude. I know dev reads these posts, making all these negative comments is like kicking him while he is on the ground. Looks like dev surely has hit the creative block cuz the update was lame and boring. The story progression and character development slowed down so much. Also if it was v0.15 half, then when will the other half come, on Christmas ?

After playing this update and keeping in mind DarkBlue personal issues, I think it would be wise to cut the daughters from the romance side of the vn. Emma has plenty of screen time with the MC but sex is not present at all. Whatshername has no screen time, no point in wasting any development time there. Lucy and Charlie are the ones with some romantic shit involved, just focus on moving forward the main story and make one ending for each of them, The End.
Being honest I would scrap any sex bit present in the game and sell it on Steam as a non-sex vn at this point.

In my view, the update was nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, it only has a few good moments. The storytelling is very good as always, but nothing came of it. No scene with Charlotte that did anything useful to advance the story between them. Sure the little teasing from her was okay. I hope we see something more in the second half.

Can't believe I waited all this time for basically nothing. This game has been going on for roughly 3 years ( i think ) and there has been 2 kisses and a few boobs.
