There were literally tens of scenarios which would have resulted in broken heart and sometimes happened too but she chose to close her eyes and pretend to be in the unicorn land, that Emma girl is so naive that i don't know what to do with her. It's like helpless feeling yet no choice but to endure.

First , honestly I think it's not that big of a deal , you know , Emma going out with Zak. It's just a first date and the fact that Zak thinks so lowly of Emma I doubt he'd even touch her...you guys know how he mentions her to his friends right ? ... 'fat ugly girl who is unattractive as fuck' and I also don't think he'd try anything nasty with her , given his ultimate goal is hitting the jackpot Charlotte , he'd do anything to keep Emma as happy as possible so he can get to the good side of Charlotte.

Second , Zak seems to be the guy who lives in his own world that everything around him will stay the way he demands...and he obviously has no idea that Emma actually has a bodyguard ( or he does , but it seems he doesn't )...also he doesn't even know that there is a word 'Strategy' exists...clearly he is not naive like Emma but he is a dumbass(while Emma is not) and I honestly don't think he'd make through even two dates.

He gotta spoil something in the first date since how he underestimates everyone around him there's a little chance that his horrid mouth might spill some beans that Emma could be able to pick up and it is more than enough for building a little suspicion and doubt onto his sudden interests and get a glimpse of his hidden intentions little by little or even faster with the help of MC.

Finally , MC already cooked up a little plan of his , you know mirroring Emma's phone , he'll be surveilling her phone conversations or he might come up with a better one. This will make plucking the prick Zak out of the way much easier. At the end of the day Zak is nothing more than a little prick.

I would also like to see the Zak problem sorted out in the next 2-3 updates so leaving the way open for the MC to become Charlotte's escort/bodyguard full time.
Zak I am not too sure about as he seems like a spoilt rich kid who has watched too many of his own movies reads his fan mail over and over just to read how great they think he is and he believes it.
Bullying by text is childish and cowardly so does Zak really have the stones to break into Charlotte's house and leave a message?To be honest I don't know but I am open to suggestions.
Strategy and playing the long game are not in Zak's vocabulary it seems,he gets what he wants when he wants so yes this could be over quickly if maybe detective Carter steps in.
kaylah I am not too sure about and to be honest I am not even sure if I trust her and Lucy could turn into a problem as well(if you turned her down) even though she does love her sister this is the man of her dreams

I'm all for dating whoever, whenever and however she wants, but the problems her naivety might cause because someone couldn't be better parents or siblings is mind boggling. Well let's accept for a second that Charlotte had her reasons (which doesn't even make sense but depression is a bitch) but who was stopping Suzy from having some sisterly lessons/chats with her?
