So at this point, I'm pretty sure that this is a deliberate choice to get less paying customers. The wording on this one specifically confirms it for me... "Play all perspectives if you want to see the entirety of the story and ARE NOT INTERESTED IN MYSTERY." Fuck off with that.
I'm a huge fan of the genre where the CHEATER doesn't know how much the partner knows. I have zero interest in the other perspectives, frankly, the entire experience goes from enjoyable to disgusting. But EVEN THAT IS BESIDES THE POINT. There is no mystery in whether the partner is cheating or not, the mystery is how caught on the partner is to said cheating. Because we all know she is fucking like a bunny as soon as possible and every scene where something seems sus, something is fucking sus. Why the fuck does the dev write two mystery perspectives, but doesn't provide both of them properly if they are such a big fans of mystery? Fucking god damn wankers.
You know what's the stupidest part? This is the story path folders:
Just based on file sizes, the folders contain chapters from that characters perspective, meaning the All PoV's doesn't have it's own files, but is written to jump between Karl and Heather PoVs. Meaning ALL THE DEV HAS TO DO is GIVE A GOD DAMN THIRD PERSPECTIVE OPTION WHICH DOESN'T CUT BACK TO THE KARL PATH. It's super fucking easy! How do I know this? Because this is how simple it is. Here's the SIMPLEST MOD Of ALL TIME (non-incest category)! Now YOU can watch the perspectives that YOU want to watch! Kuck, Heather or all, it's your choice!
All the mod does is provide a duplicate of Heather's story files, creating her perspective by slightly changing the jump labels and adds a separate text button under the All perspectives start button to start her PoV. I didn't even bother with adding path choosing logic to the files, rather just changed the jumps in the duplicate files, but who cares!
Yeah, the writing and scene changes feel a bit jumpy at times, because I didn't add any writing or scene change animations, but if the devs don't care enough about their games to give them TLC, neither will I. I'm not even sure if this mod works past the first 30 seconds since that's all I could be arsed to test. I just wanted to show that with minutes of effort they could cater to a whole new fetish group... Case and point, this comment took longer to write than the god damn mod took to make. I've said it before, I'll keep saying it, if the dev doesn't want my money, they don't have to take it, but I'll call them out for refusing to do minutes of work a month to cater to people who like their writing and art, but don't want to read the cuck PoV.

The story isn’t written to make sense from only Heather’s POV. You would be missing context for what’s going on. He writes it to make sense cuck only or all perspectives.
Heather barely even had anything from her perspective on the first day. It literally wouldn’t make sense if you only played her pov lol
Having played a lot of this devs games, I can say for a fact that I held skip through male lead PoVs in all but one of them. I regret the one.
Besides, isn't it obvious that the dev could spend a couple of minutes summarising the most important details in a few lines from the male PoV, like setting up the situation "I came on a ski trip with my XO and it's been kind of dull, I wish I got dicked by that other guy real quick, but nah I don't cheat." or along those lines. Frankly, the dev knows how to write well enough, so they should be able to summarize their own writing from a different characters perspective. They stuff they can't? That works as part of the mystery aspect! I god damn love it, I don't want to know everything! It would be time better spent than the weird commentary modes they do...
If you can relate yourself to a guy who gets cheated on or if you enjoy that, you do you. I have nothing against that. But I'm on the exact opposite side of the field and the game already contains 99% of the work required to make me give them money, so why not provide minutes worth of work with a warning "This path is just the porn, the story will make no sense!" and make us both happy?
My only two theories is that the dev either gets some sick satisfaction out of it or they have some grand expectations of how people should experience their writing, but regardless that doesn't matter. What matters is, their game could be better for those who want the porn and those who just want more female PoV games with writing. All without taking anything away from those who want the cuck PoV.
There’s no theory required man. HangoverCat just makes tried and true traditional Netorare games that are built off the cuck perspective. There’s nothing to rage about he just makes different games than what you’re looking for.

No, he makes exactly the kind of games I love, except they'd need around 3-4 lines of extra code per chapter to get them there and that includes adding some extra text between the transitions. Why do you think I have such a problem with it?

Maybe. I'm just tired of people and devs thinking I don't know what I want, when all I want is to give my money to artists who make art that I enjoy. I just won't give any to someone who won't go through the minimum effort to accommodate that enjoyment by giving the option to only see the perspective I want to see.
If I'm doing too much, the dev isn't doing enough.

The great majority of NTR is, and it's always has been, portrayed from the perspective of the cuck. The heroine's perspective is meant to complement and enhance the experience, showing you what happened, and many fans enjoy the mystery and thrill that comes from playing the cuck side only, and save the heroine's pov for later. Yes, some "fmc ntr" games exist, (not gonna go into the debate if they are "true" ntr or not) but this game is not one of them, and acting as if all ntr games must offer a pure fmc option because "you don't wanna identify with the cuck" is simply absurd. Don't like it? Don't play the game and stop complaining.

The game contains several duplicated textures and assets. And worse yet, practically for all but Live2D scenes use several 4k pictures rather than 1 background and changing character assets, so like non-programmer made Ren'Py games tend to do. Granted, that's much faster to devlope, but... well, we can see how it affects performance. For example, these are all 4K images that are mostly the same, but with small differences between them:0.2 suddenly is super stuttery and takes up all the ram... Thankfully, the images are compressed. But .jpg is still a raster format, so in practice that means Ren'Py is decompressing them to be rendered. And one 4K image without transparency would take just under
I would propose a proper fix, but I have no idea what Ren'Py is capable of and not interested in learning lol, but compressing files into something that the CPU has to decompress to render is only going to help download time and in case storage speed is the bottle neck, it could also help load times. But it's more CPU taxing and just as memory heavy as not compressing them.
