There's been plenty of actual malware on here too. It pays to wait for established uploaders instead of randoms to appear and give a download link, or offer a gallery mod or some other optional thing.
And if you're still suspicious, wait a week. If it's a popular game someone else is gonna find the virus in the mean time.
