And after 2 years of empty promises to uphold his end of the bargain, he broke our verbal contract, repeatedly AND lied about it. (That's when Gloria was removed from the game.)
That was then followed by ANOTHER two years of excuses and empty promises that he WOULD totally re-add Gloria and make up for everything.

Then, around 3 months ago. He was given an ultimatum: Get his shit together. Or else.
He chose else and went all "Löl, what you gonna do bitch? Sue me?".
And well... Not sure about every other dev on this platform, but it's VERY rare to sign a legally binding porn contracts as indie devs. So, the ONLY option left after he blocked and ghosted me EVERYWHERE, was legal action.

To which he is now bitching about how I didn't try to "solve it civilly".
He then committed perjury twice. And went on a purging spree, trying to delete ALL evidence of the internet of the fact that Gloria every existed in the game.
And he seems unable to grasp that, just because he deleted the messages on his end... doesn't delete copies I made back in October. Which, as said: Are going to look GREAT next to his other behaviors.

He is 100 % expecting me to fold over the fact that it would "be difficult" to sue him over in England.
Which... who knows? Maybe it's legal to commit perjury over there? They're no longer in the EU, so it complicates things.
But yeah, his story has change form that I created Hole House. To that I "helped" with it. To that actually, he has created 100 % of the art, assets, writing, BG, and even the kitchen sink.

Really? That sucks, who is Gloria and since you're co-creator does suggestions even go through? I know I've only heard about this game since the end of November.

I'm gonna keep my dick out of the legal side of things, I don't know how viable verbal contracts are in a court of law in either England or whatever. Idk. As long as Charlie stays the receptionist, I'm good lol.

I mainly give critique on how slow the updates are happening and how low quality some characters are, compared to the money that's coming in each month. I honestly don't really get that.

I couldn't agree more Charlie is so good its such a shame she doesn't get more love, there some many options that could be added for her and it also seems like she's one of the last to get added to new scenes. The updates take ages coz the dev is lazy and just wants to add whatever easiest at the time so none of the good stuff every really gets worked on

Every single piece of art, animation, dialogue, etc. Which, is funny considering a certain artist is the ONLY one credited for BG and CG art. And I have testimonies from several artists that he hired them to do art/animations. (But as said: More ARE welcome.) It certainly pokes holes in his story.

But, the main person affected is me. I CREATED Hole House. I let him borrow Gloria to use in the game. He was given notes and the second draft of Gloria's game to build around. I wrote the dialogue. Suggested characters, gameplay, playtested, all that. It was a handshake agreement. He had to respect ONE rule with Gloria. All was in good faith. He'd simply make me some Gloria content every now and then in return. (AND credit me. Which he coincidentally "forgot" several times. Even argued that he couldn't put me above high patrons.) It was even planned out. Was likely gonna be a three/foursome with her using her portals. But, cue said 18 months of "I'll get to it", "Gloria didn't poll well on patreon", "Look! I have Gloria's new model from the new artist!". And then: I found out he had BROKEN the agreement on Gloria, repeatedly, and LIED about it. (I know, I didn't spend 50 minutes each update to unlock all the scenes. I should have known. /S)

His response? Delete her from the game and replace her. And go "See? I'm not in violation." and not to worry. He'll TOTALLY add her back later. It was just a coding issue that made it impossible to keep her.
Also can't overlook his STELLAR defense regarding all the dialogue I wrote. "It's not CURRENTLY in the game. And any SIMILAR dialogue cannot be copyrighted!". Deleting it and asking chatgpt to reword it and then copy paste it into the LATEST release is surely a flawless legal defense. Using it for 3 years prior surely has no effect.
"See, your honor. I know I am 28 months late on the rent. But see: I MOVED OUT last week. So... WHY should I have to pay rent?" flawless logic. /S

(And for those wondering: Yes. I DID tell him not to do dumb shit. Like: How many adds and where to place them. He basically went "I saw this GREAT idea in Ready Player One, hold my beer!". Then got himself banned from F95 all "Don't worry about it.". Like... it scares me a bit that this guy just repeatedly committed fraud and abuse, but my idea was just SO idiotproof, that it persisted regardless of how many time he tried to self-sabotage. Without me, he'd still be on Newgrounds trying to create his magnum opus: "Fuck Lois Griffin as a demon guy".)

Gloria was the receptionist for the first ~2-3 years of the game.

And she has had quite a few iterations. He has been systematically deleting every single version that contained her. Every single video. (Like

) Deleting any mention of her in the discord. And he is currently claiming that she NEVER existed.

And he VERY much ignores ALL suggestions. With the ONE exception if you slip him a sizable bribedonation.

I mean... considering he threw Charlie together in like, 30 minutes after being publicly caught breaking the ONE rule with Gloria (and lying about it), and hastily deleting her. I do take that slightly personally xD

Jokes aside, he did really half-ass Gloria and drag his feet with updating her model. And well... NEVER delivered on the multiple scenes she was gonna have. Like a lesbian threesome xP

Charlie is the GOAT, i wish you could change her body type though or something just to make it a bit different to the other girls

I don't think it can work like that, its probably very limited what could actually be edited. I know there someone ages ago who was able to edit some stuff to give you unlimited coins and max level but other than that I dunno

yeh you'd have to completely open up all the files and add stuff it which would be a massive mess. Would be easier to just build a new thing from the ground up

ahhh ok. I only really play a lot of Ren'Py and they're quite easy to mod. On another note will there ever be a translation into other languages, like a plugin or something we could use to change it

pretty sure Ren'Py has some built in translation stuff so thats why its easier there. The dialogue is also stored horrendously in this game so even if you want to try and translate it it would be almost impossible to get through it all
