Holiday Island [v0.1.4] [darkhound1] - General discussions and information

Not sure if this would be too much work technically, but the first thing I thought of when I saw the new player room and the frames gallery was this. Any girl that EVER enters the MC's room would have an immediate reaction, good or bad, to a gallery of lewd pics on the MCs wall. A number of scenarios/routes could follow as a result.

1) Right Here Right Now Route: Girl walks in, sees images of the MC doing her HI friends. Girl gets so turned on she has to have the MC on the spot.

2) Jealousy Route: Girl sees wall and jealousy triggers her to up her game right there on the spot. For example, Heather visits the room. Heather doesn't care for Faye. Heather sees an image of the MC doing Faye on the wall. This ignites spontaneous behavior from Heather.

3) Friends & Family Route: More of a light-hearted and casual "Hey I know her!" feel. For example, Amy visits the room and see's an image of her sister Alice getting boinked. Amy gets the urge to do the same so they can compare sisterly notes. Or another scenario could be, Jennifer sees photo of MC and Desire. Since Jenn and Desire already have a thing going on, she decides that it might be a good idea to invite Desire to the room.

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall Jennifer saying that the pictures reverted back to the generic black and white when a girl walked into the room. Since the scene of her showing and demonstrating the new play room is not repeatable, we will have to wait for @darkhound1 to answer.

Hmm, I don't recall that but if so, it could be easily squashed by an embarrassing technical glitch that failed to switch the pics? Afterwards, that could then open up another rabbit trail (path) to Joy sincerely apologizing and trying to explain the failure, and of course asking if there's ANYTHING she could do that will help the MC.

Roger that! I guess the overarching point is @darkhound1 has created a game/world where the characters and their environments offer numerous paths and possibilities. So many games are flat and one-dimensional in their writing and creativity that it's refreshing to basically get a brand new game w/each major update. The fact there's a group of fans kicking around ideas that might actually be incorporated into the game is a testament to the dev and the game itself since most games aren't even worth engaging in discussion. Throw in the amazing renders and animations and its easy to see why HI is popular. I'm looking forward to all the new (and updated) content as well!

The Goat Sacrifice is only required for the Ivy bump scene, which I have yet to get!

I had the idea that you could cheat at poker by dealing yourself a winning hand, but that the girl might catch you cheating.
Darkhound1 said that this would not work because the player would circumvent this punishment by just backing up so that she wouldn't catch you.
He had an idea for the marked cards mechanism that the check should come after you play, so that the punishment comes on the next game when she says, use my cards not yours.
So, my idea could be refined to be: deal yourself a winning hand, but afterwards she notices that you were cheating. The next time you ask her to play, you get the punishment.
The next time you ask her to play poker, she refuses, accuses you of cheating, and gains 30 anger. Thus, you could back up, but any time you asked her to play, it would come up again. So, no help there. Your penalty would be to buy her 6 candies until she plays again.

Regardless, I think that any time she is angry, she should refuse to play poker, saying, "I'm not meeting you alone in your room, I'm still mad at you!"

With Darkhound1's help, the girls now have their personalized text back for when we "Talk about her."
These are the girls who say things which reveal their stories:
Amy, Alice, Aly, Desire, Faye, Jessica, Natasha, Renee, and Yvette.
The girls talk about certain things: where they are from, how their breasts developed, how they got involved with HI, Inc., boyfriends, sexual exploits, plans for their future, jobs they've had, and family. Each girl has about 6 different responses which are no more than three lines.
Let's help the creator by suggesting some lines for the remaining girls:
Brenda, Delizia, Eva, Heather, Ivy, and Lacey.
Darkhound1 may of course veto any suggestion which doesn't fit into his background for the character, but at least we can give him a starting point. Maybe he can change a few things to make what we give him useable.
Since Bantry's birthday is coming up, we can start with Bantry's favorite, Delizia.

Delizia: "I come from a rich family. They paid to put me through medical school so I could become a doctor, but I started modeling to make extra money. Then I found that I liked posing for pictures which drive men wild, and I made that my career instead."

Delizia: "I'm from xxx, but I went to college in the United States, that's why I have a perfect American accent."

Delizia: "When I was younger, I concentrated on being a good student and athlete, but when I came to America, I started to really loosen up and party. I became really popular at my new school. Maybe it was because my breasts went from A cups to E cups in my freshman year."

Delizia: "All my photographers say that I have beautiful feet. What do you think? Maybe you need a footjob to help you decide."

I think it's a good starting point, and I sort of kept to it in my dialogue suggestions.
Our suggestions should be such that Darkhound1 can make slight alterations and still use them.
However, even if you have a way out one, what's the harm? Darkhound1 can just disregard it.
For instance, Delizia is shy and smart, so I don't see her describing sex acts to you, or propositioning you, but I included the footjob one just because I liked it and won't feel bad if it's discarded.
Let's have some ideas, mates, so we can give the creator many to choose from.

Let's go over what we know about Brenda, so we don't contradict anything already in the game.
She acts as doctor and maid. So, she has a good sense of responsibility.
She's always smiling, sometimes shyly. Thus, she is quiet and polite with a good disposition.
She dresses more modestly than the other girls, but her swimwear is very daring. Maybe she has a secret wild side.
She shows off everything she's got when she has to get nude for strip poker.
She gets mad pretty quickly when ignored but gets over it just as quickly.
So, here's a couple of ideas:

Brenda: "I like to wear my tiger bikini to let a guy know that I can be quite agressive when I want to be."

Brenda: "I keep to myself mostly, but in bed I like to let myself go completely wild and nothing is off limits."

You forget Delizia has a HUGE crush on me. Smart, yes, shy, no. She propositions me daily, describing acts that would probably kill the average man. And the things she wears ... Let's just say that if @darkhound1 ever puts them into the game we're all in for a treat!
