the hacking did not change, i think the developer made a smal mistake hat has the hacking progress and another symbol on the same position. look at the text and you can see it also there is another symbol behind the progress symbol

Doesn't look like that on my screen. Do you have a save file to check it?

EDIT: neverrmind, found the bug. It only happens when you do not already have the new player room.
Will be fixed with the next update to 0.3.7.1

Need help with jennifer, the last 2 scenes said that I need to finish the quest to help her photographer friend Nathan... who is he? how can I do this quest? The companion guide show nothing about this

Did you tried to talk to her at the nightbar ?
Also check the quest logs, maybe there is an hint, I don't remember.

does this mean that saves will just function correctly regardless or the mod is auto installed?

The same save games can be used with or without the mod. Doesn't matter if it is installed or not.

Where does the Images folder / nemod folder go on a mac? I've tried a variety of configurations without success. Thanks.

the zip download should give you a folder named "game" somewhere insiden it. You want to merge that folder with the "game" folder inside of your game install location

Note, the Companion Guide is out-dated.
Has been lacking this among other events not been added and issues for some time now.
Highly recommend seeing it as helpful tool for the time being, till someone reworks it.

I don't think that the poster's error fits the critera.
He got a specific error.
I would suggest to delete and reinstall the game.

The open book icon in the MC action buttons when in the room.
The one you use to increase soft skills, sneaking, charming etc

"blabla defined twice" is a specific error.
It happened to me when decompiling and editing the files. I was just messing around, I'm no coder.
No idea why it happened for this poster.

AH HA! blabla consisting of:
While running game code:
ScriptError: Name (u'game/characters.rpy', 1626673959, 2) is defined twice, at character.rpyc:3782 and game/characters.rpyc:8578.

Perhaps a Re Download if suggested steps are not successful.
Have ran into similar cases where's unpacking/reinstalling was no good.
Running decompilers doesn't always help for me in some cases.

I just retrieved my saves and put them in the newer 'game' folder. Some sort of version mismatch or something.

Have not been able to recreate this Yet.
Will report back when i've something specifically viable to help with this issue.
