Caution: Help request follows 'cos I obviously missed something in the past and seem to have managed to "BORK" my game (concerning Amy).

1. Yes, I unknowingly used the Companion Mod to "tweek" Amy's stats and totally screw up her "Max Love Quest". But considering the "warning" NOT to do that for ANY reason anymore for her SPECIFICALLY isn't until page 54 of the Companion Guide, and probably wasn't ADDED to that page until AFTER she got the "new" way of her stats getting updated during game play, I don't feel stupid about it. Why? Because why on Earth would the Companion Mod STILL ALLOW someone to use it to change Amy's stats if it WOULD completely "BORK" Amy's quest (or the entire game?). The Companion Mod should not even ALLOW anybody to change Amy's stats anymore. It still does. And that's totally different than all the other "warnings" about "being careful" not to maximize any of the other girl's stats which MIGHT cause game problems. "Might" is totally different than "DEFINITELY WILL". ;)

So, my current question is....

Is there ANY way I can "reset" Amy's stats to the beginning of her "Max Love Quest" and just start over with her "Quest", WITHOUT causing problems in the rest of my saved game? (I already have over 96 pages of saves over the entire time I've been playing it). Or am I doomed to have to restart the entire game again to ever accomplish Amy's "new" Max Love Quest?

Despite whatever the answer to the above is, PLEASE consider REMOVING AMY from the Companion Mod's ability to alter her stats now. Some people simply aren't going to "discover" they should NEVER touch Amy's stats anymore using the Companion Mod until it's WAY too late for them to realize that.

(Begging Disclaimer: Yes, I tried searching the forum thread for an answer using several different search terms, but didn't find one. Please...there are 1644 current pages with 32,872 individual posts right now. I tried...I REALLY tried. )

Thanks for any help if it's possible.
Send me one of your latest save games and I will have a look if there is anything wrong with them.
If you used the companion mod with Amy, there is no way you could have "damaged" her stats so that you can't advancce her quest line any more.
There was a bug some versions ago, where one of her quest lines could get a wrong progress status/setting.
If you send me a save file, I can find out if this is the problem or if it's something else.
Almost anything can be fixed without having to start over.

I don't know about you guys, but I just downloaded the new 3.8 version. But I am finding that it runs unusually slow compared to previous versions I downloaded. It freezes quite often. That makes it frustrating to play. Is this because I am still using Windows 8.1? Or is there something I should be downloading from page one here?

I'm not tech savvy and do not understand a lot of the jargon mentioned above.

If it's because my computer is too old, I guess I will either have to go back to old version 3.7.1 or just just sadly stop playing until I get a new computer. Maybe playing under the influence of Gelexis beer will change my perspective.
Games with any mod? Any additional patch or translation?
because I have noticed that in modified versions it is somewhat slow. While in clean versions it is more or less fluid.
It would be to wait for these modifications to fix your problem.

Boys, I need a save for right after the next update. Can someone help?
Sure, I'll just jump into my time machine...
;)

BTW, the reason saves sharing is discouraged for this game is due to the nature of it - there's no gallery & many of the events are not repeatable, therefore you'll miss most of the content.

Guys, a save for a game like this is like having not one but two beautiful and sexy girls in the bedroom, only waiting for you and you masturbate watching a porn with ugly women. But if you are like that, i won't care about.

I get the reasoning, but its why I quit supporting. Over time all my favorites got sidelined by the same ones. I mean I liked yvette and all but bring things into balance more would be nicer. that and the terrible quest requirements that never improved. still after all this time never seen a sauna scene
Some games do it like that, but this is not one of them.
It is contrary to the fundamental design (all are not equal, differentiated girl/role setup).

So it is not a case of pour more into girls to balance them.
  • It'd break the design
  • It'd take years
  • Be against what the developer wants to do (so it is not possible at all).
Indeed doing so would end Holiday Island overnight.

By far the best balance option in a differentiated setup is to balance Role, Time and Service period within the design.

Or put simple, let older girls end (in Aly's case, her quest, sex, done) as their purpose comes to an end (and before time and the tide of purpose made modern specials makes it impossible to get the content).

Triggers
Simplified triggers? For some select areas I believe it could make sense.

Triggers leading to content areas, which is to say, Lab, Sauna and Showers, could be candidates for a simplification as their intent is to provide a context based consumption of content, not act as a too restrictive gate keeper.

I have no idea how to play this game. Too many options and too many clickable things. I'm overwhealmed. It's like flying a modern airplane.
Depends if you want to go achievement hunting. If you just wanna have fun and see bewbs, then generally keep in mind the advice from the guide, but just enjoy yourself! It's one of the best implementations of a sandbox in adult gaming.

If you want to see everything, then you'll find yourself poring over every line in the guide and spending forever waiting for RNGeesus to bless you. May as well just un-Ren the image files and use Windows Explorer!

Been playing since this first came out, just not for the past few releases, so was set with most of what you said.

Just play along and don't start "achievement hunting" until you have seen more than half of the things for a girl already. It's not necessary to do it right from the start. Most of it will just happen as you interact with the girls and play the game.
Definitely this is the thing I usually end up skipping over and jumping into, rather than acclimate and let the game set itself up I have been pushing the companion app to increase my relationships and jumping into things, with so much more added I need to start pacing myself. Thanks!

Bantry and Xapican cleared up several misconceptions I was having about the "new" Amy Quest procedures. It appears her Quest may be moving along properly now, so let me keep going and see if I run into any problems yet progress-wise.

As an aside to all of this, I got caught up in a real-life issue for almost 11 months now that prevented me from playing the game on a regular basis. Before upgrading to 3.8.0 a few days ago and starting to play it again, I hadn't played since July 2022 with 3.5.1. Then I had to quit lots of things to deal with life issues. Then on February 2 this year I upgraded to 3.7.0. but only did one save at that version right after the update, because...Three days later I got diagnosed with cancer. So that ended playing 3.7.0 while I was dealing with all that medical stuff since February (chemo sucks!!!). It's only a couple days ago I upgraded to 3.8.0 and started playing it and experienced my "WTF is going on with this?" issue. That's when I went back to review the Companion Guide and saw the "Don't EVER change Amy's stats or you WILL "bork" EVERYTHING!" Naturally, that made me believe I might HAVE borked it. But since Bantry's and Xapican's explanations that cleared up some things, I've been able to increase her stats in the ways expected. Amy's even being much more "cooperative" now too.

Let me see if that continues, 'cos there are a lot of achievements I never tried with her in the past, but so far they seem to be progressing in the expected ways now.

Thanks to all for the advice during these exchanges. (y)

Sandbox, so a walkthrough is not a concept that is applicable as such.
But check page 1. Look for the companion guide there, it is as close as you can get in any sandbox.
I started to create an overview to try and get all the hints at a single glance.:geek:
But as this is quite some work to do for all characters and their related scenes, appointments and events I was wondering if someone already did something similar??
Especially some hints for the ‘Special Actions’. Because for some reason I just don’t seem to get all these images.
For example for Delizia it would look something like attached (greens are achieved):
Images.jpg
Note that the 'beachwalk' was green but with the latest update this achievement has been 'reset'.
