I have no idea how to play this game. Too many options and too many clickable things. I'm overwhealmed. It's like flying a modern airplane.
Depends if you want to go achievement hunting. If you just wanna have fun and see bewbs, then generally keep in mind the advice from the guide, but just enjoy yourself! It's one of the best implementations of a sandbox in adult gaming.

If you want to see everything, then you'll find yourself poring over every line in the guide and spending forever waiting for RNGeesus to bless you. May as well just un-Ren the image files and use Windows Explorer!

Been playing since this first came out, just not for the past few releases, so was set with most of what you said.

Just play along and don't start "achievement hunting" until you have seen more than half of the things for a girl already. It's not necessary to do it right from the start. Most of it will just happen as you interact with the girls and play the game.
Definitely this is the thing I usually end up skipping over and jumping into, rather than acclimate and let the game set itself up I have been pushing the companion app to increase my relationships and jumping into things, with so much more added I need to start pacing myself. Thanks!

Send me one of your latest save games and I will have a look if there is anything wrong with them.
If you used the companion mod with Amy, there is no way you could have "damaged" her stats so that you can't advancce her quest line any more.
There was a bug some versions ago, where one of her quest lines could get a wrong progress status/setting.
If you send me a save file, I can find out if this is the problem or if it's something else.
Almost anything can be fixed without having to start over.
Bantry and Xapican cleared up several misconceptions I was having about the "new" Amy Quest procedures. It appears her Quest may be moving along properly now, so let me keep going and see if I run into any problems yet progress-wise.

As an aside to all of this, I got caught up in a real-life issue for almost 11 months now that prevented me from playing the game on a regular basis. Before upgrading to 3.8.0 a few days ago and starting to play it again, I hadn't played since July 2022 with 3.5.1. Then I had to quit lots of things to deal with life issues. Then on February 2 this year I upgraded to 3.7.0. but only did one save at that version right after the update, because...Three days later I got diagnosed with cancer. So that ended playing 3.7.0 while I was dealing with all that medical stuff since February (chemo sucks!!!). It's only a couple days ago I upgraded to 3.8.0 and started playing it and experienced my "WTF is going on with this?" issue. That's when I went back to review the Companion Guide and saw the "Don't EVER change Amy's stats or you WILL "bork" EVERYTHING!" Naturally, that made me believe I might HAVE borked it. But since Bantry's and Xapican's explanations that cleared up some things, I've been able to increase her stats in the ways expected. Amy's even being much more "cooperative" now too.

Let me see if that continues, 'cos there are a lot of achievements I never tried with her in the past, but so far they seem to be progressing in the expected ways now.

Thanks to all for the advice during these exchanges. (y)

Sandbox, so a walkthrough is not a concept that is applicable as such.
But check page 1. Look for the companion guide there, it is as close as you can get in any sandbox.
I started to create an overview to try and get all the hints at a single glance.:geek:
But as this is quite some work to do for all characters and their related scenes, appointments and events I was wondering if someone already did something similar??
Especially some hints for the ‘Special Actions’. Because for some reason I just don’t seem to get all these images.
For example for Delizia it would look something like attached (greens are achieved):
Images.jpg
Note that the 'beachwalk' was green but with the latest update this achievement has been 'reset'.

Poker is fun but there should be a cheat option if players(me) want to skip to the good parts.
While not a technical skip, there are two ways to cheese the poker. 1) Research the marked deck to play with 2) Roll back (mouse scroll up) to first bid/ante/whatever its called and fold to keep yourself from pursuing a losing hand. And finally, there is a cheat, console command: g_poker_game.winner=0

There is also the console command of g_cheats_enabled = True
It displays the winner of the hand right after it is dealt.

I'm about to release the Guide for this version. There really isn't anything new that was added beside Amy's Beach Bar scene. I've seen some have answered the How do I trigger Amy's Beach Bar scene etc. I'll research some items like the Quarterback quest for Amy and if it needs revising I'll update the current Guide or just add it to the next update. Will advise. should be up shortly.
