It's FANTASY! meaning: fiction, make believe, fake.. LOL If I want to make a fictional story about a man that has a romance relationship with his Mom, then what's the issue? It's called fantasy for a reason. And, I am a fan of the genre..(Thanks to F95) I never knew such games, and stuff existed, haha!

Now I'm on a mission as an artist, I want to create some of the greatest M/S animations and stories ever created. None of that, NTR bullcrap or where the MC looks like a midget. No. I'm talking about a fantasy about a Grown Adult man finds romance, and love with his Mom. It's not real life, a big inspiration for my work would probably be "The Visit" game, by Stiglet. That is one of the most perfect games ever created. ( video attached is a render from "The Visit". I used AI software to animate it)

Is this something to do with Steam changing its rules on what's allowed and what's not?

Can someone explain this to me? We have TV series like Game of thrones,HOTD, and many popular movies that include themes like incest, rape, and other disturbing content. In those cases, people often applaud the storytelling and call it one of the greatest works of fiction. But when it comes to 2D or 3D fictional characters in other forms of media who are not even real people mind you, that's where they draw the line?


If these people are truly concerned about this kind of content, shouldn't they start by addressing it in mainstream media first?

I don't really think that much has changed... the payment processors were shit before and not that many good incest games were on steam to begin with. Most of what I've seen that got removed was shit tier shovelware AI slop anyway.

Those "people" are NPCs that regurgitate whatever they're told to like or hate. They have no thought of their own.
e.g. If the media would suddenly advocate for incest they would suddenly say it's the best thing since the invention of pre-sliced bread.

It's a waste of time. The dev will remake the game again in a year or less.

It'll be a pain anyway, the renpy engine has been so hacked about and damaged that it's next to impossible to make sense of the mess. It's a miracle the thing even runs.

Naming relations is still an effective workaround, for now.
Payment processors cracked the whip on Steam, so you can just consider them following the same rules as Patreon now. Incest patches should still work, though less and less people seem willing to make them these days.

Problem is, apart from crypto which not that many people use, donations also have to go through the same payment processors so anyone regularly creating patches that the morality police don't approve of won't be doing it for the money! At least not for long.

Best one I have seen for this is the Good Girl Gone Bad incest path with her dad. Things being what they are today, I'm not sure you could find a working Ipatch to make that happen anymore.

I've played that route in Good Girl Gone Bad! Great game. Although the dad could do with being uglier and older imo - he's just a normal looking dude. But thank you for your reply. Definitely along those lines
