We Are Ready for QTE

Hello,
dear Home Prisoners!
Two winter weeks have flown by unnoticed, and here we are again, ready to share some news with you.
During this time, we have been working on the most challenging event for the next update. This idea has been in our minds since the release of the second episode, and we have imagined many times how it could look. Finally, the time has come to bring it to life. Considering our current capabilities, we were able to implement about 50% of the original idea, but we still hope you will like it!
In the last two weeks, we have created 1 simple, 7 medium complexity animations, and 1 complex animation. To better understand where we spent our time, let's break them down by category:
- Simple animation: For example, opening and closing a cupboard door.
- Medium complexity animation: Actions such as a character picking something up from the floor.
- Complex animation: Complex involves full body use of the character or non-standard interaction with the environment, as well as animations that we are doing for the first time.
We have also created
9 video segments based on these animations. This includes editing, effects, and sound.
And here's the most interesting part: we are expecting our first event using the
QTE system! We are confident that it will add a new level of interaction and dynamics to the gameplay.
For those who might not be familiar with the concept of Quick Time Events
(QTE), these are interactive events that require players to respond quickly to certain commands on the screen. Introducing
QTE into our game opens up new possibilities for storytelling and interaction. We are sure that this innovation will significantly enrich your experience and add dynamics to the plot twists, raising the overall quality of gameplay to a new level.
Also, thank you for helping the younger daughter choose a new casual outfit. She is thrilled with your choice!
