sure normaly yes you go to every room and check if there is an checkpoint. But on the third day there is no checkpoint anymore and i cant sleep so maybe bug or i am missing somehting.
Game sucks to play. 1st have to move around with keys, no skip for the long ass mini games, cant go back through dialog. uninstalled!

I don't get what you meant by moving around with keys? For the mini games there aren't much yet and the only long one i felt was the scene with the wife in bed after meeting Jerome, but you only need to see them once because of the dajavu option by selecting the episode you want at the start of the game.

No. The eldest daughters room is downstairs. The room you're trying to get in is a spare bedroom. I'm guessing that may be Jerome's room at some point.

Like what Pdr said that's the room Jerome's will be staying in once he moves into the house, you can only get in noon time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, but it has nothing to do with advancing the story and is just a messy room room that looks like it's being used as some kind of storage

You probably missed an important eye interactive scene, there's only like 10 areas make sure none have an eye interactive, also reading the dialoge usually gives you a hint on what to do next (for example: Brushing ur teeth needs to be done before advancing the game)

You can skip straight to the second episode, there's only something interesting there, but in general there's nothing in the game except atmosphere.
I think it was a scene or two that involved the wife and Jerome, but their hard to notice because of how much back and forth this game has done.
