Ok - once again to write down: you have two options to get HoneySelect 2

1 - you download the BetterRepack (now version R15) ~ 68GB for free, that is the original japanese game with the english translation from Steam, a big modpack (only for game.......clothes, hairpacks, skins, makeups etc) and the StudioNEO base version to create scenes for pictures, animations, even hentai stories.
ONLY usable for StudioNEO is the Optional Sideloader Modpack Studio ~ 237GB - since R13 it´s an own torrent file for downloading.

2 - if you buy the game on Steam you only get a (censored!) base version. To bring it to the mod level of BetterRepack you need the SB3 Patch (same author as BetterRepack: ScrewThisNoise): normal edition with uncensor + few mods, full edition same amount of mods as BetterRepack at level R11. As I know StudioNEO is not included.

Alternatively you find download links here on page 1 - the Steam version is only the "normal edition" with less mods, the All-In-One (DX R15 Base Game Repack) is the same as the BetterRepack from ScrewThisNoise.

You can use most AI cards in HS2 - no matter if BetterRepack or Steam - , but sometimes need a little tweaking, cuz newer mods don´t work in both games any more.

It is strongly recommended to download via torrent, the install (only extracting) of 1 big .7z file is easy. The extracting splitted packs (actually 15 parts) is a little tricky and there is more chance getting corrupted files.

I guess, you sellect the item, in this case, TV set, Now go to "Material editor" and find the texture. Select "Import new", and upload the picture you want. I think it has to be te accurate measure so you don't have issues like crop picture, upscaled or downscaled, etc.

If you have the Steam version + the full SB3 patch you have the same as the original japanese game with BetterRepack, so most AI cards should work.

The StudioNEO is an own thing to create scenes and pictures, have nothing to do with the game (excepting you can load your game cards into it).

You can either start the game or the Studio

You can find 2 plugins in [optional mods] in the game main folder that could be helpful. One is GifPlane and the other mp4plane. The name is from placing a media file in a "plane", for example the screen on a smartphone etc.

There is an "image board" object - included with the install. It renders any *.png file that's saved in your HS2/UserData/BG folder.

You slap an image file on it, then position it over any screen and you are pretty much done:

About what Kaseijin said about using material editor, you may or may not be able to do that because some items in this game don't have the model regions set properly.
As in you may not have access to editing the screen's texture, but you SHOULD be able to. Just know that if there is no option to change the texture, that's just bad luck

Was hoping studio R11 would somehow fix a general issue since R9 to R10.
But for whatever reason, scenes are fine (+30 FPS) for 5 characters.
However, if you try to add one more (+6 characters) FPS tanks to 5-6.
With LShift+U shortcut for FPS i see that it is a vsync/render problem.
Any clues here?

I mean, my FPS DOES drop a lot with so many characters in view, but not nearly to 6-7 FPS just because of the last added, 7th character. It depends on the clothing and hairstyles, but generally, one character drops my fps by about 3 or 4 viewed from a few meters away.

Did you place the game main folder on top of your drive (better not C:/) - example D:/HoneySelect2 ?

Sometimes they hidden in Scenes, so you can download some from Kenzato Booru, Bepis DB and Yuki Portal.
For isolated VMD files the best option I could find was searching on DeviantArt. Some contain only links to YouTube to see the end product, but some contain VMD files you can download.

StudioNEO is still an area 51 for me, never found time to deepen myself into this tool

I haven't done anything with StudioNEO either, but so far I know this is the only way to get new sex animations for your characters.

As I know you can make them for scenes, but not import into the game.
Anyway in Repack R11 I found new H-Scenes, not only renamed by new translation.

Actually, That is the best and easy method by far, But if you make scenes and pretend to share them, you have to share also the image files, that should be in the same folder, UserData\bg.
In the other hand, if you change the imagen via Material editor, the image comes along the *.png scene file and no need of further background image files shared going in UserData\bg folder.

This game (with the R11 repack) is amazing, but I do have a couple of questions that I hope one of you can help with. The BetterHScenes plugin really transforms the game, but I would like to edit the poses for all of the girls at once (essentially changing the defaults), instead of each one separately. Is this possible?

Also, I am having trouble with the TakeCharge mod, in that I have been trying to get it to loop a position repeatedly, but it usually does nothing at all. Any advice on how to configure it?

I downloaded everything from the KKmanager.

But when i go to create a character, there is tons of facial type available.
Some from videogame ect...



Here i choose Tifa for example.
I have this message above: 14x Outdated zipmode ect...
What should i do?
