1. Make sure you run InitSetting first.
2. "Not responding" means the lack of a timely response to WM_CLICK, WM_KEYDOWN etc. Just tell her to wait and click/press nothing until it loads up.

Just figured the core issue I guess. The repack was never intended for the non-DX version, wonder if I can update to DX at this point... I guess I can, as the repack barely touches the stock content itself, the question is what exactly do I have to install, guess honey2dx_01_plus_xxxx from BR site would suffice...

How do you get an old mod working alongside an updated version? I updated an old item and it won't load into the game anymore unless I remove the updated zipmod. I'm trying to find a way to allow both the outdated and new item to work simultaneously. I tried editing the old zipmod's contents like file names and updating the directory links, but it seems like it's much deeper than that; I may have to use Unity software

You can try editing the manifest.xml.

I tried tried adding different words to the GUID in the .xml and it added the mod back to the list, and I can now see a picture to click it, but it doesn't load correctly. There's gotta be something else I'm missing. I'll probably just bust a nut and take a jab at it tomorrow. Thanks

BR includes SB3Utility (Tools) that can open them.

Then you did what can be done. Without knowing which mod it is, there's not much else to be said.

While you're not wrong, the main problem is that what happened to the mod sharing thread was nothing short of a targeted attack by HS2 mod content creators. If it was remade, the same thing would likely happen again.
