They are only meant to be imported into StudioNeo. Move them into \abdata\studio\map.

Very sad to hear you're having so many issues. I got lucky with my intel graphics potato.

That issue was very common in R1 but was later patched with an hotfix. Are you playing R2?
People have reported problems with AMD cards and the suggestion has been to delete lib_burst_generated.dll and lib_burst_generated.txt in HoneySelect2_Data\Plugins.
For some versions of the game there could be a conflict with some running anti-virus programs. Try disabling it to test.

I'm indeed trying to play R2, I've tried what you said and nothing changed. I've disabled my anti-virus and added the folder it's stored in as an exclusion (with both my anit-virus and windows defender). I'm using a i5 9600k and a 2070s, even the AMD solution didn't help. Also the game is not stored in my C drive (which may be the cause) don't know if that can help.
I'm currently redownloading all the zip files, including the optional part and I'll try to delete everything, reboot, install reboot then try to see if hopefully that helps.
I'll try to see if I can make it work on my laptop.

PS: Please excuse me if I made errors in my messages, English is not my first language. And now that I think about it, I have both unity and visual studio code installed on a different drive, I'll check if they need an update and see how it goes.

You can save yourself some time and skip the sideloader modpack until you managed to pinpoint the problem.
Are there any error messages showing up on the console when you load the game?
Try running the "Vanillify the game" bat. And then install mods one at a time to pinpoint the culprit, if that works.
Also read somewhere that changing the game folder attributes in windows properties to remove Read-only from all files might do something (i doubt it, but no harm trying).
I hope you manage to fix it soon and get to finally enjoy the game, Omnis.

Yeah, confused the hell out of me! I've never seen any game that didn't require a two part joystick to start picking it up as a controller, let alone a fucking hentai game lol

I can even bind it in the menus. WTF Illusion?!?

Male characters have almost the same amount of customisation as the girls. My profile pic (tried to copy my own face!) is my player character in-game.

This is the offending code according to the error log. It's either an issue with Unity in your setup, or a specific problem with the translation mod (i suspect from the filename). Can you try to find that file and take a look at the specific line?

EDIT: Nevermind. This seems to be a Unity debug redundant stacktrace and not an actual game error, even though i have no such line in my own log. The problem is the NullReferenceException at GameSetup, which i have zero idea what is causing it Sorry, mate. A clean install and updated drivers are your best bet at the moment. It's such an high-level error, i doubt even the vanillify will help.

update your graphics card drivers, or
in the HoneySelect2 folder, then UserData folder, edit the setup.xml in notepad or notepad++ and type in a custom resolution

Change the resolution in-game in Settings > Plugin > Graphic Settings

Some of you know already that I've been toying with the idea of uploading a character creation guide based on the amazing feedback I've received from yourselves - so I finally took a stab at it! I'm a total noob at this btw, and haven't looked into editing software at all just yet, I just kinda went for it!

There's no cuts or edits and you WILL see me cock-up and have to fix some mistakes, but you might find that part of it handy, too. I thought that seeing my whole process, rather than basically giving you all bullet points would be more useful to you guys in the long run!

Creating great characters is pretty organic experience and I don't think I could bullet-point that process even if I wanted to!

What I really wanted to show were the key tricks I use to get a more realistic look from my creations. I also wanted to tackle the opinion of some of you out there, that making Western-looking girls isn't possible without modding the game into oblivion.
Hopefully I managed to do both!

Well done MrWrongTubes. You're quite a natural youtuber, man. Surprised this is your first upload. This has everything to become a good series, lots of good tips. You also got a good voice for the job - though you need to research some mic windmuffs hacks, a lot of huffs and puffs coming through. I'm watching it right now. I hope you have some hints to make the hair look less shitty on HS2. Thanks for putting in so much of your time and effort to help out HS2 players.

Request: Eyes and nose are a big focus for good reasons, but i'd love to see you try giving a character big plump Angelina Jolie lips. I've yet to see a card that comes close and i've pushed the widesliders as far as they go and they go from thin to retarded in a single increment

EDIT: Throwing out an idea for you here. The resulting character in the video is a little underwhelming, ugly even considering the quality of the stuff you've been posting. Of course it's perfectly excusable on a practice video where you're fiddling with everything to explain the process. But might still be a let-down for random viewers. What do you think about starting to record your personal projects and then adding commentary in post (speeding up the video or cutting here and there in the boring parts)? Will take a bit more editing, but might give you more flexibility and produce some more catchy results. I'm afraid when it comes to editing, i can't recommend anything other than Premiere. Don't know any good free alternatives actually exist.
