This is what I managed to do so far. It's not perfect, but at least it's usable. The issue is that the character outfit can't be moved to the male side or saved properly, but I can already use it in the main game.
(If you're wondering why I don't just use Studio—well, my English isn't that strong, and I'm too dumb to figure it out, lol.)

An issue I have with this one here is that the graphic-settings in probe light (which looks pretty ugly imho) are not saving at all, presets do also not save with changed and adjusted graphic features, while saving a preset-file into the folder.

Does anyone know how to make it work properly? I would change the respective strings inside the ".DEFAULT"-files for the boot-up settings, but they are not readable-edit friendly (partially encrypted file structure).

It's hard to make a female char a male (and the other way around) and it's not worth trying. You can drag and drop in Studio Neo to replace male with a female and it works mostly ok if you save the scene after replacement and reload it. You probably can't do this in the main game though

I had absolutely no issues "converting" my files from regular females to futas. It simply requires one to move their character-card file from one to another folder.

hi ive got a problem with mods not being loaded in vr, after launching the game via Virtual Desktop injection.
However, said mods still work on the regular desktop mode.

hoping if anyone may have a fix for that. cheers

maybe this fix already had before in this thread, but if not i just want to share this fix.

When using mods character from a creator and you want to use hanmen next-gen face on your mod character.
And if the mod creator does not provide the card with SSS or Next gen properties inside the card, your character face will look like in the 1st head mod picture attachment (it will show some black line or spots around the face).
This is example character mod Xyth-Ada Wong, this mod does not have the card that support SSS or next-gen.

so what i do is:
1. Download AssetStudio v0.16.47 to export the face asset
You must be registered to see the links

To export the face asset you need to find the character mod textures.unity3d file inside abdata/chara folder and drag the file to AssetStudio and then export the assets. If the character mod only have zipmod, you'll need to change the file extension to zip file and then extract the textures.unity3d file (dont forget to change back the file extension to zipmod).
2. There are 2 face assets that need to be export. look at the attachment. The export file will be in PNG extension.
Just make a new folder inside mods folder (i just name it Next-Gen Texture) and put the PNG file inside it.
Basically you need to find the face assets for importing to NailMask & SubsurfaceAlbedo inside material editor later.
3. Open Face Material Editor, import the 2 PNG face assets, the 1st face asset goes to Nailmask, the 2nd face asset goes to
SubsurfaceAlbedo.
4. Only for xyth mod: xyth use lips texture inside Paint-2, after you do the 3rd step you need to adjust the size and position of the lip texture, so that the lips texture will match with the character mod lips.
5. Maybe also adjusting few color, brightness, & contrast for the Face & Body with material editor if you have neck seams issue.
6. Lastly after done all step, the character mod will be like the 2nd head mod picture.

i use this fix base on trial and error, if anyone have a better way please let me know. thx

Which vr version, official or the vr mod? Official vr has very limited mod support.

If you're talking about taking a character from a studio scene and making it a character card, then yes:


1. Load the scene in Studio.
2. Press left-CTRL + E to open the video export dialog. This automatically exports all characters in that scene to UserData/chara/export. You don't need to actually do anything with the video export dialog.
3. Find the exported characters in UserData/chara/export. They have no images; move them to UserData/chara/female.
4. Load one of your new exports in Character Editor and re-save with an image.

Use the torrent link, fyi this not steam version, fully updated with last version, premodded, & multilanguage.
Most of us use this HS2 Better Repack version.
