this is kind of a silly question, but what makes some cards like dblins tifa for example look so good?

and how can i make other cards look that good
(not talking about the head mod, the lighting and skin textures seem just better than a lot of other cards, despite when in the editor not using different textures)

May I ask, has anyone tried the HS2 VR mode, using Occulus Meta Quest 3 ?
Can it work on this model VR headset ?
And also, generally, can someone please share his/her( :D ), experience ?

I can confirm It does indeed work on that headset. I only got the main game to work in VR, not Studio, but that's probably what you're going to use anyway. Since I don't like the main game, playing it in VR didn't really help change that. If you're fine and happy with the main game already, you'll probably be even happier experiencing it in VR.

I think I added the .exe to SteamVR and launched from there to get it working, and since the headset is wireless, you're going to need a good router if you want a stable experience. Also, the game will be rendering on your PC screen and separately for each eye on the headset, so I would suggest something better than a ThinkPad.

If you're in the process of buying it just for this, really think about it or you may end up with buyer's remorse

I will say 70% lighting, 30% skin texture. The funny thing about Honey Select; it's so easy for anyone to hop in and share pictures with little to no experience in 3D creation space. So many people who share their screenshots have no idea how to set up lighting, that's why a lot of the work people share has that signature, plastic-y, Honey Select look to it.

Good lighting is one of the hardest things to grasp. Amazing lighting can save bad skin textures, but not the other way around. I'm not a pro, but the easiest way to make anything in this game, or pretty much anything, is to angle your lights. Never have your subject hit with a light straight-on. You always want shadows/AO present to create depth and reveal geometry details. Once you understand this, you can't unsee it while you're watching movies and TV shows.

It doesn't matter if you use GM or DHH, you can achieve amazing visuals when you get lighting down
