can anyone tell me how to adjust the focus in the player POV mode (the one when you press ",")? It used to be good, but now it's slightly out of focus... in the older game versions it used to be adjustable by holding the right mouse button around, but this doesn't seem to work in the most recent version.

Do you have graphics mod enabled? If so, press F5 and go to the "PostProcessing" tab. If you scroll all the way down you'll see "Depth of Field". Play with those settings.

There's also a setting in the vanilla game, but extremely limited.

I don't know if this is the best place to ask, but this thread has the most visitors.

I have a problem in the studio with wet (transparent in this case) clothing.

Picture:
ugly transparent clothing.png

Whenever I use the wetness slider, the clothing has this ugly pattern from a distance. I've tried a bunch of settings, but only screenshot upscaling has some effect. However, this doesn't work well with the shader I'm using: if you take 5 screenshots, then the result will always have a different degree of wetness and differing shadows. My question: can you get rid of this and how?

Shader I'm using in the screenshots is the new Hanmen clothing shader (Hanmen/Clothes true cutoff). Highly recommended for wet clothing, except for that one issue I'm having.

I've been updating this with InitSetting.exe for some time, but just noticed that InitSetting.exe says I'm way back at BetterRepack R6. Do I need to manually download and install BetterRepack R7, and then download and install R8? I thought the InitSetting app did all the updates for you. Any ideas?

Is there a list of modded characters that is included in the pack? I see some zipmod without corresponding cards, and some cards with missing zipmods, maybe I'm missing something

Yes. Link for the installers:

The installers make a backup of your user files and Bepinex folder, but I recommend making a backup of your settings anyway. I also recommend running the game and studio at least once after going from v6 to v7.

I propose you my way: instead of updating (so I crashed my R5) I download the newest Repack (now R8), make a new install, swap my "save", "chara" and extra mods and test it. Keeping the old installation as backup for some days. If all is running fine I delete the old version complete.
The update files do only one step, so you spare several updates.

This is the best recommendation I've read here, but appreciate the detail others shared beyond just the links. Downside is that you need to download the entire release, but I can just let that run in the background. Thanks for the info.

Yes, torrent seems busy now for R8.
Don´t get exited about these time predictions - it´s getting faster after a while.
Mine took over 12 hours, but it can run in the background and you don´t mind about until it´s ready.

First thank you for R8. But there is a little problem with some girls. A white face after the update R8. Nagisa and Kula (Roy12) with a white face, and some girls from McM82 like Tifa, female Shepard or Kassandra with a white Face. I search in the internet for a solution, but without succsess at the moment. Anybody with the same problem and a solution? Thank you for help.
