hmmmm I believe the problem here is cuz I'm missing those stuff cuz its really the only ones I have, and for the torrent file, there might be a slight problem. It does say the correct size but it already popped up once I started the download. I tested it out with the sideloader with my download because I didn't download it, and got the result that if I don't fully download everything the file would be the correct size but when I try to extract it it will only extract a few files which I believe is the ones that's downloaded on the torrent. For the extracting app I'm using 7-Zip as well

Anyway we try something else: according to 3Days I send you a pn with the whole loose files

I'm stuck trying to add some more items for studio: I'm adding modpacks from Hooh workshop (putting the .zipmod in the "Mymods" folder)... I check in KKmanager if everything is fine (and that is).
However the objects do not display in Studio, in the arborescence or in the search field either.

Installations are so easy that I think I'm missing something obvious...

Nah, never heard of something like that.
I just meant that his problems are really unusual and persistent, so a rogue antivirus always quarantining important DLLs in the last extraction step could be a reasonable explanation for the missing UnityPlayer etc.

All the many download problems AND extraction problems seem to be unrelated (besides the user )

Anyone know how to get a particular DHH setting to be the default? Every time I open the game, go to character creation screen, or go to play it goes back to this ugly default setting. I even tried changing the "GraphicDefaultSetting" file which worked when I press "restore default" on the P menu but it doesn't actually make the default setting.

Take your custom DHH preset and replace the file highlighted there. That should do the trick, Mick.

I tried, to be certain, but unhappily it doesnt' work either... Some mods I put in the MyMods folder are showing in StudioNeo with no trouble.
Eg., after dowloading this small mod from Hooh ("Niche mod") :

I found it with a lot of luck, by looking for something else. And you can download it here :

So you found the solution yourself - fine, well done
Always if a mod doesn´t load there must be something additional missing.

But what I want to complete:
HardcoreDuddler is right: the correct folder for all your extra downloaded mods (beyond BetterRepack) is mods/MyMods.
This is why BetterRepack sometimes places mods directly into "mods", so you have a differentioation to all mods you searched and downloaded yourself. The game find them anyway.

And NEVER put your personal mods into Sideloader modpacks cuz they will be deleted there if you run "update" and they don´t exist in the official Sideloader modlist!

Is there something else you need to do on Linux? I did the winhttp thingy through winecfg for the translation, but the dicks have mosaic and the girls have no genital textures at all.

Edit: Nevermind. Adding the .exe to Lutris somehow must've done something to load everything properly and it is now decensored, loading with all the modded content & running with more FPS as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In "…/UserData/coordinate/" I also had to move all those ??? image files out of the male / female folder and into a sub folder, otherwise the game would constantly white screen after room selection, throwing errors in the log file. Does that remove costumes if I do that? Is it a font issue or something? Should they have Japanese file names maybe?

Is there any way to edit the animations that are in the game? The reason I ask is because I noticed that some animations have different actions with the eyes closing and in some cases each eye opening and closing alternately, leading me to believe that this action is added when making an animation. I know there is no Mod to force the eyes to be open all all times during animations, which is what I am looking for. Some people spend a lot of time working on making beautiful eyes, only to have them closed half of the time which is sad.
