Overview:

Horingar Darkside is a hand-drawn adult RPG with harem elements, rich fantasy lore, and branching gameplay. Set years after the Great War, you play as Prince Reiner, a rebellious heir who abandons the halls of Horingar to uncover the fate of his missing father—only to discover a web of dark secrets tied to a forgotten Ancient Evil.
The game features a semi-open world filled with side quests, hidden objectives, and in-depth lore delivered through collectible books. Each chapter centers around a semi-linear main quest offering three distinct paths—Combat, Stealth, or Puzzle-solving—allowing for varied gameplay experiences. Your chosen path not only shapes the moment-to-moment gameplay but also strengthens your bond with one of several unique, fully romanceable companions.
Build relationships with a cast of hand-drawn love interests, each with their own personality, backstory, and fully animated adult scenes. A detailed relationship system lies at the heart of the game—your decisions influence who grows closer to Reiner, and how.
Every companion features a three-branch talent tree, giving players room for strategic growth and replayability. Professions such as fishing, mining, cooking, and crafting provide vital resources—especially for those pursuing the combat route—but become optional for other playstyles after Chapter 2.
With tones of mystery, drama, romance, and a touch of comedy, Horingar Darkside invites you into a dark fantasy world where your choices forge relationships, uncover ancient truths, and determine the future of a fallen kingdom.

After alot of trail and error, the code for the chest when escaping through the sewer/dungeon is 932, hopefully that helps save time for some people

For those curious about why Fate of Horingar isn’t finished, the short answer is that it became unstable and essentially "bricked." It got to the point where trying to fix it was more work than starting from scratch.

Horingar: Darkside is being developed by someone with years of experience, while Fate of Horingar was made by a novice with no prior experience, which made it incredibly difficult to fix — it’s essentially a tangled mess. That said, I’ve managed to stabilize FoH for PC, and the final patch will be released soon.

Horingar: Darkside represents a huge leap in quality. Unlike the first game, where we mainly invested effort, time and energy, Darkside has far more resources and polish behind it. Honestly, I’d recommend skipping FoH entirely and jumping straight into Darkside—it’s the game we truly wanted to create but couldn’t with the first one.

Keep in mind, 3 chapters of Darkside are already out, and a 4th chapter is coming on January 15th. The game will feature 2 arcs, each with 6 chapters, so technically, Arc 1 is already about 60% finished.

Curious, since no one asked this yet and it wasn't stated, but is there planned for harem route (because it's damn hard to get a harem story done right and justified for involved female characters) or just solo route branching?

I want to know before actually jumping in.
