SHerobrine shouldn't have been removed, instead it should've just been like an option to turn her whole route on/off in the settings, those that like gore could just enable it in the settings in order to play while others who don't would just keep it off and go on. Hopefully it gets implemented in a future version. Also would be nice to have a pig and wolf (animal form not humanoid) scene with alex just like with the horse.

Herobrine is not removed its just a reference to old minecraft update logs
how do you get it to show up then ? i just completed all the scenes with all the girls and the dream scenes and herobrine never showed up once.
Adding to this, there's that locked barn building near mc's house which could be used as alex's barn where she keeps the pig and dog to have fun with them
Oh, its that simple? My dumb ass were stuck on this,
i spent like 45 minutes trying to figure out the script(s).rpy and what i needed to do with herobrine.rpy file (that i myself created). the fact that renpy seen that .rpy file and decided to populate it with some data really didnt help lol
Then when ive seen this
i took it too literally, took the median point on the map and clicked around this barn for another 5 minutes
You have a "code" button on your hud, in left part. Just insert "herobrine"

you need to find redstone torches or signs around the map and there is a guide that can help you, its on this thread
I'm having trouble with part 10 , the torch doesn't show up no matter how many times i visit the witch , has it been changed ?

Any way to cheat? RenPy save editor doesn't seem to work. When you load a save it gives a warning about someone having touched the save and it not being safe to load.
