to be honest I haven't tried but i dont think you could get high fpshow does this game perform? i have a gtx1060.
you guys really want me to create renpy game? then you will ask for UE version that's weirdEven compared to the 5-year-old Ren'Py version, this looks bad.
1- When you say “school quest”, which mission exactly are you talking about?for UE version, in school quest , you go up to 3rd floor and for 1st and 3rd doors checking and enter, you directly go to 2nd floor teacher room and cafe respectively. also many bugs for school especially rooms for corridors walls you can enter whereever you want. go to any wall end check press e , if it responds -enter or -leave ... press enter and surprise where wall leadsfun, also after police station henk doesn.t follow but appears in directly to class. i waited him at the entrance staring each other and check press E maybe he.s got a car?
nice idea btw.. or awaiting bus lol.
also there is a magical word esp. for survival mode games "highlighted"i checked and pressed E almost every corner of the school and houses
after fixing these and many bugs it can be playable in future...
for now 19gb unworthy deleted it.
but for start it is promising...
3050 mobile was able to play with low fps. Do you have any idea which one is stronger GPU? Maybe that would help you can compare in some benchmark siteshow does this game perform? i have a gtx1060.
I did not ask for a UE version, nor will I ever do that.you guys really want me to create renpy game? then you will ask for UE version that's weird
ngl renpy sucks, glad u switched to ue even if the game is buggy and barely optimized right now, cant blame u tho cuz its just an early versionyou guys really want me to create renpy game? then you will ask for UE version that's weird

It runs quite well on my 1070 with 8GB RAM. At medium-high settings relatively stable 60-55fps3050 mobile was able to play with low fps. Do you have any idea which one is stronger GPU? Maybe that would help you can compare in some benchmark sites
People will always complain that any game is not on RenPy. Don't worry too much about ityou guys really want me to create renpy game? then you will ask for UE version that's weird
I can only speak for myself, but I personally never asked to switch to the Unreal Engine, nor to start a new project from scratch.you guys really want me to create renpy game? then you will ask for UE version that's weird

I know Ren is very easy to use, but it also limits gameplay terribly and makes like 80% of H-games look identical...
Players are also afraid of UE5 because games are rarely optimized on it... Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll succeed in that regard.- Just remember not to get carried away with the amount of stupid effects and technology's this engine offers.
I’d like to ask you a question. I assume that your reason for preferring the Ren’Py version of Hot Dawn isn’t just the characters’ appearance.I can only speak for myself, but I personally never asked to switch to the Unreal Engine, nor to start a new project from scratch.
Even if it was slow, it was the development of the other game, the true Hot Dawn (which coincidentally was in Ren'py), with its models, animations and everything, even with its flaws, that interested me, and a lot too.
I can't almost even recognize the old characters in this one, however I can see that the quality in general, and the models in particular, seems to have dropped significantly and the overall experience is way messier, clunkier, unnecessarily chaotic and really unsatisfying compared to a 2020 project that's been on hold since February 2022, and that really saddens me.
Maybe I misunderstood, but I'll venture to say that I don't think anyone is asking you to port this to Ren'py, but it seems to me that many are asking to continue with the real game, the one that was already in Ren'py and abandoned for almost four years, but this is just my interpretation, and also my wish too.
No, I would not, although that would be an improvement, but to me, the Unreal Engine version, and how it plays, offer a way lesser enjoyable, and comfortable, experience than Ren'py overall, consindering the ultimate scope of the game, and not to mention how it generally performs on the systems.I’d like to ask you a question. I assume that your reason for preferring the Ren’Py version of Hot Dawn isn’t just the characters’ appearance.
Would you still enjoy playing it if the Unreal Engine version (the characters, the map, and the story) were made using the Ren’Py engine instead? In other words, is it mainly about Ren’Py offering a simpler and more comfortable gameplay style for you, or is there something else about the Ren’Py version that drew you in?
Just please keep in mind that this lack of limits can easily overwhelm. But with UE, there’s no limit to what we can do
I love you. This feedback helped a lotFinished the demo today, saw some bugs in the short playthrough but nothing major.
As some points to check (in my opinion):
- Dialogues: Give the option to not auto advance the dialog. Sometimes they get skipped apparently for no reason with no time to read. Also some rollback option would be great.
- Better map. Its kinda annoying to zoom it out every time, also the character arrow doesn't work while on a car.
- Mouse sensitivity option doesn't seem to work properly.
- Phone have bugs after calls, with mouse disappearing.
- Weird lighting effects
On the positive side, gotta say I like the models. I'm not really a fan of UE, but I don't think it deserves all that hate.
Yeah you're right.Just please keep in mind that this lack of limits can easily overwhelm.
UE offers a huge amount of possibilities, but with them comes just as much potential to overload a game - it’s very easy to get carried away by the number of "easy" "innovations" this engine has. It’s no coincidence that most modern UE5 games look great, but run like crap on top hardware.- Anyone can add the latest Lumen technology, but very few know how to actually optimize it...
Oh, and to reduce the amount of complaining, I recommend trying to imitate as many RenPy features as possible. You know, the ability to skip everything, even rollback messages and scens if possible, save at any time, and hide the message window with a single button. It would definitely make the game more accessible.![]()
