Don't think it is a bug - just not implemented. It is version 0.1 after all. Dev notes said not to expect anything from the club at this time.

Well that's the only way to progress through the story...

Looks good but having "Saga" in the name is cursed af. Hopefully this one won't take 6 years to get 60% complete before the creator scraps all of the content to redo the game.
