Version: 1.0.2

Changelog:
  • Linda's Bend Scene should now function properly. After seeing the Linda/Julie pool scene, 'admiring' Linda should end a little differently than before
  • Emily's tease scene has been adjusted again. It should work this time... If it's still loading as a black screen for those on Low Quality mode, let me know and I'll make further adjustments
  • Sometimes the mouse cursor doesn't show up when starting the game. I made some small adjustments that I hope reduces the frequency of this issue. I'll be continuing to monitor how often it's happening to players

please dont tell me 1.01 to 1.02 needs a new game
Rpgm does not store saves seperatly like Renpy does. For ALL Rpgm games you have to manually copy and paste your old save folder to the new version of the game. When you first open the folder with the game in it, there should be a second folder labeled www. The save folder is located inside. Simply just move that save folder to the www folder in new version of the game, and you will have all your saves. Again, this is the case for every rpgm game, not just games made by this dev. That's just how the engine works. It's why it's a good idea to regularly back up your saves

If you're making a game you have a notion how far you wanna continue and start proceeding with closure of the game.
You don't go from 0.0.1 to 1.0.0 Randomly it looks completely unnatural and makes it look unorganized.
As a game developer I would assume you think ahead how much further you want to continue and accordingly increase the version numbers to end with magical number of 1.0.0 completed.

The notion of this version numbering makes sense is completely because 0.20 to 1.0.0 makes it sound/look like they had no idea how far they wanted to go with this game until they just axed it here.

Next time I'm making a version i will go with 0.0.0.0.1 and increase it with 1 to 0.0.0.0.2 and when i feel like I'm done with the game ill go 1.0.0 because its normal and popular.
Same happened with Tunnel Escape, the only answer for this kind of things it's they have rushed the game, why? who knows, maybe after long time they where losing ppl, or more interested on another game or even someone pushed them to release it.

Anyways the result its always the same....lack of content and hollow parts at the game that feels that there's something missing.

If a Dev goes from 0.20 for example to 1.0 then u know something is wrong xD

It often means that Dev got burned out on the game and ends it early then planed. Well at least this game doesn't have any "work in progress" signs all over when labeled as completed.

Tired of having to tell people this but they didnt rush the game. This was a side project they did and their main games are zombie retreat and town/kingdom of passion. This would get irregular updates in between the updates of those games and was was only originally intended to be a short 2-3 hour game, but the dev kept it going because people liked it. They originally planned to finished the game by the end of 2020.

Developer Notes:

== Roadmap/Plans ==

In case you weren't aware, House Chores is the third of three game projects that I am working on simultaneously! Because of this, it's a lower-priority project and it's designed to be a little less demanding compared to Town of Passion & Zombie's Retreat.

I want each update/build to feel meaningful but this will not be the lengthiest visual novel out there by any means.

My plans are to finish this visual novel in a year so roughly the late summer of 2020. I also intend for this game to be just an hour or two from start to finish if you quickly play through it. If enough people enjoy House Chores, it's possible that I will increase the scope of the project slightly to include more content!

0.2 jump to 1.0?okay , at least it complete.
Not 0.2, which was a long time ago, but 0.20. It seems that once again americans have trouble with simple thing. Imagine if the whole computer program industry was working like that for years, it would be cray to not understand it ... right ?

Yeah, you are clearly no developer (would it be for any program, not only games) with so little (meaning none) understanding and saying more bullshit than a flat earther.

Do you know what the 0.20.0 means? Do you know what a build number means? Do you know why the bug fixes are 1.0.2 instead of 1.2?

why can't people just answer a simple question? does everyone need to be a lefty(ass)? Yes, or a no, that simple
Would be kind of cool if F95 auto-searched the thread for users before posting their reply. Would prevent everyone from being a righty(lazy)

No such thing. Link me what 0.20 vs 0.2 means for software release numbering
Homie if you don't know the difference between the number twenty and the number two, we're fucked
