Because the save files are local in the game folder's 'www' folder. If you want to keep your saves you have to manually copy over the 'saves' folder inside the 'www' folder to the new version's game files.

I havent confirmed, but I think you have to win the dream sequence, which was bugged in the release version.

Edit: Confirmed that was the issue. Just beat it and I got the scene to play.

The correct order is

seem to trigger after a round on the game table "solo quest" then it will tell you there an event waiting in your room at night, go through with that then talk to her in the next morning
