New Game Reveal | Room Service
Welcome!
Today I'm happy to share a first look at my next game project, Room Service!
== Room Service ==
Room Service tells a story about a beautiful woman named Jennifer and her 'muse' as they take a short weekend trip to Crimson City! While the main character isn't particularly thrilled about this trip, Jen has quite a special surprise for him. They'll be staying at the luxurious Leblanc Hotel! Known for its gorgeous details and spectacular service, this short trip will be one to remember!
Room Service will be a visual novel story and takes place prior to the events of House Chores!
For those familiar with my Zombie's Retreat 2 game, you might recognize the Crimson City location! But don't worry, in this universe, the city is zombie free! I wonder if there's anything else that's different in this version of the city..?
== Game Details ==
If you're familiar with House Chores, Room Service should feel familiar too. My goals for this game are to keep it feeling similar to House Chores while also being a much shorter & contained project.
Some of those sandboxy elements from HC are planned, allowing the player a little bit of control with interactions. But one difference is that I plan for RS to be a bit more story-driven. My plan is to have a few different routes or outcomes that will change some events of the story slightly so that way players can try out multiple playthroughs and experience new events!
At the moment, I only really anticipate content revolving around Jen and the main character, but there are some ideas for some extra characters that could be fun to explore. We'll see how things progress!
== Alpha Test / Release Window ==
Currently, I'm planning to release an Alpha update first that likely won't have too much content but will just make sure that the game works for everyone on both PC & Android.
Early progress on the game is moving along great! Normally the start of a game is the hardest since so many assets need completed first but we've got a nice head start on some of those tasks.
It's a very rough estimate, but I'd like to have a playable Alpha update out in February! I'll be keeping you all updated with some teasers too as we get closer to that release!
== $3 Patreon Tier ==
Once the first NSFW teaser is ready, I also plan to introduce a new $3 Patreon Tier! With my other game projects, this tier is where I reveal sneak peaks of upcoming NSFW scenes.
The House Chores page never had this tier originally because I thought it was going to be a very short-lived project.
HC ended up being quite a much larger project than originally planned but it felt weird to toss in that new tier in the middle of development, so this page has always lacked the $3 tier.
Once the $3 tier is introduced, NSFW teasers will be exclusive to it (and higher tiers). The $1 tier rewards will be for the Discord invite and for certain, more SFW teasers like outfits & characters.

That's all for this first look at Room Service! Things are just getting started so I expect to share plenty more as things continue to progress. I'm very excited to work on this new duo!
Of course, I do still have a few different ideas for the original House Chores cast so don't worry! I imagine you'll be seeing them again in a new project someday!

Well technically they all take place in the same universe. There is a timeline split when it comes to the events of Town of Passion.

Where is that explained? I've played ToP but I don't even remember an orb lol (But the story felt all over the place to me, so I didn't pay that much attention). That timeline split sounds kinda lame TBH. =D
