Good start, but there's a lot of bugs.
Had a marathon man client, I didn't have a worker with the right skill and no option to kick him from the room, so the night wouldn't end, bricked the save.
Language defaults to French when you load a save.
Assigning workers to the gym doesn't increase their energy.
You can constantly talk to a worker, raising their affection to 100, not sure if that's intended.

Like some of the others are saying videos don't seem to be playing and if your screen isn't the right size you can't get out of the options screen.

It looks like it could be a good game but it's a bit broken right now.

Also, it looks like you can just spam talk to your girls and get them to 100 affinity straight away. Need to nerf that somehow.

Thanks for the interest and feedback everyone! It already means a lot for me. I will check the bugs, but some of these issues are working on my side :

Fullscreen: F11 is indeed not working. However, you can resize the window freely, and the fullscreen button in the top-right corner of the window works on my side. Maybe it is a screen size issue, could you tell me at what resolution you are playing?

Videos not playing: The videos are streamed from RedGifs, so you need an internet connection for them to load. Make sure you're connected or that RedGifs isn't blocked on your network. Maybe people who made it work can help on that?

Affinity maxing out easily: This is expected for now. Affinity is a placeholder for now, that isn't fully implemented yet

Malware warning: This is a false positive common with Electron-packaged games. The .exe is unsigned, which triggers some antivirus software. The game is safe.

Ahh, yeah, that's gonna be a no from me dawg. I'm sure I'm not the only person who is playing through a sandbox with no internet access. No offense, it's not just your game that I'm playing this way.

I was wondering how you kept the size of the game so small.

Edit: Just to add:

What are you going to do if they change their links and whatnot? If you really want to keep the size of your game small you could just keep the game and the videos separate. Lots of games do it that way. Can also lead to modding and stuff.

What phlore101 said is right, some people would like to sandbox and fully offline when they play games just for extra safety. For Electron I think you can separate assets from the ASAR in an Electron app, but you need a few tweaks, and you cannot reference those external files with normal ES module import. You must load them using the filesystem or URL-style paths instead, if I remember it correctly.

Yeah, I understand. I have all the videos stored locally too if needed, in case of broken links, and because the game was originally intended to work offline. But as the game grows, the size will become way too big. I'm already at more than 60GB of assets — nobody's going to download a 60GB+ game. But I'm still thinking of ways to address that.

Just curious, you play games offline because of viruses or something else?

activating tongue-in-cheek-mode.....

because the developer says so and no developer in the world would lie. all those posts on game feeds and crowd funding sites that have been abandoned are your imagination and the developer is willing, without a second thought, to stake your device on it. that's real trust.
bypass those sirens and warnings and just accept everything past your firewall as everyone knows that those with nefarious intent ALWAYS announce their intentions beforehand.
you may have seen a link to a list, of known nefarious downloads that have been identified and flagged after some members have already downloaded them, attached to a well known members' signature here on this site. ignore that. never happened. completely made up. ransomware is a figment of the media's imagination.
just let your boner guide you.....

....deactivated

touch wood, i have been downloading games here since 2016 when the site was about a month old and have not had any issues with any device, which i cannot say about prominent software developers on steam. the court ordered NDA stops any elaboration, because winning has limits, but i would suggest, jaded as i now am, that giving it a week for site staff to give it a look and post any appropriate warnings, should any be required, is the way to go.

i will wait for this to move to a trusted site with EULA's and deep pockets before i run the risk. once bitten, twice shy, but it does look good and i like the idea despite the less than favourable implementation.

best of luck dev

Viruses, Malware, all that sort of stuff really. I actually think your game is borderline breaking the rules.

https://f95zone.to/threads/game-uploading-rules-2024-02-29.524/

Multiplayer or online games are not allowed.

I mean technically we can play the game but it's not much fun without videos.
