Please tell me the unwanted sex scenes won't be shoved down my throat like GoHs. I understand the necessity of them due to MC's nature with his magic but taking away the ability to choose the sex scenes or LIs are why the previous game is not high on my list (or in) my list of good/favorite games, despite the storyline

Sex scenes with some LIs are 100% required for plot reasons. It remains to be seen how LIs where sex isn't key to the plot are handled. It's worth noting that trust/love points are being tracked for some now though, and there's variables that suggest you can fail to be on some LI paths.
