Mac user here. I'm getting a "no application to open this file" error message. Any ideas on how to fix?

Use "chmod a+x" or permission fixer (https://f95zone.to/threads/permission-fixer-for-mac-and-linux.24233/post-1492564).
Those numbers (v0.2.8) have certain meanings: 0 - final release version (the game is still in development), 2 - number of game engine updates, 8 - number of content updates. Hope this helps.
Gallery pics unlock as you play the game, you get an on-screen message about unlocking a new CG art.
Stepsister appears in one scene, but you get enough of her there.

I guess you're confused by v0.2.6, it's just the wrong number on the credits screen. To start v0.2.8 content you need to get into jail. For this to happen you must confront Mistress Linda the first time you meet her, then she'll call the police and the player gets to jail.
