Stick to your theme. i.e. if the chick has a boyfriend and you want to get rid of him then make it so, people will cry NTR but she isn't the dude girlfriend yet, it's the MC's job to get rid of him. Don't change the story. (you can always get one of the slaves to fuck him over or whatever, just don't cave and change it later) NO, I am not an NTR fan but it ain't cuck unless it your girl.
If its a grind make it worth it. Plz no BB grind. If you got the stats and particular stat then it's a done deal.

What is said here is half right. However if you make girls who fit into specific archetypes, don't let that be a crutch. You still have to give these girls individuality. You need to make us care about them. What motivates them. Why is the popular chick popular, why is the punk a punk, why is the virgin a virgin. Remember the overall plot of your story. What motivates your MC shouldn't be unique. If your MC is on a journey of sexual discovery then so too should the girls in the story. The popular chick should have some sort of deviancy that she keeps hidden, maybe she's a masochistic sub and your MC is in a position to allow her to explore this safely. The Punk chick should have a dark sexual past, maybe an authority figure took advantage of her or something, and as a result she's difficult to crack. If you know your anime, she should be a Tsundere or, if you aren't then it is a Japanese term for a character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing a warmer side over time.
Your virgin character cannot be the, "freaks out at the implication of sex" type virgin. That girl exists but she's not a great character, she's either an ice queen or she's a freak that can't handle it, and in either case corrupting her forces you to either rape her or make her accept she's a freak, but doing the latter removes the purpose of making her the virginal character and raping her just makes your MC another Max. Make her sweet like the Daughter in My Sweet Neighbors. Make her reason for being a virgin be about love and not just pure religion. Give her a dirty secret, like an obsession with porn games or something. You get to be the guy who accepts her as she is, allowing her to fall for you.
So yeah, it's fine to use a character archetype, but don't use that as a crutch. At all times remember, Character Depth Matters. If you are invested in a character you're invested in fucking that character. When you do fuck that character what you take away from that experience is so much more than what you get from superfluous grind.
Oh, and speaking of grind. Unless your game is an RPG which gives your MC stats to increase, there should be no "grind". Grind, as it's most commonly used, in games like BB or MotH, is the result of the absence of reason for the characters to have sex. Make the girls just as proactive as the MC. Don't make it possible for the MC to be a total dickbag to these girls and still get with them, but make the work be happening from both ends. Don't look to games like DmD for an example, because until the halfway point D is just being dragged along. Make your female characters want the MC for some reason. Then, follow the stairway to heaven, but don't just do 1 step at a time. The reason a bar with a dancefloor is such a good way to get laid is it creates the environment for most of the steps to be taken. You lower eachother's inhibitions with alcohol. You begin talking, touching on the shoulder or knee, then dancing really close to one another, by the end of the night it's really easy to be at the kiss stage and not a stretch to go all the way from there.
I think the best use of the stairway to heaven I've seen is in Palmer's Daughter for Dessert. In 2 dates you've become intimate enough with both Kath and the other girl of your choice to get oral vaginal and anal out of them. However, the game still has a story to tell. What will your relationship with Kath mean for your relationship with your daughter. How will dating, in my case, Heidi affect both Kath and your daughter. The story should be about the characters. Not about the sex.
