Recently saw an Ai game here that has Ai animations too, which had really good "animations", it's called "celina's calling", if you want, you can skip Playing the game and just check game files for videos folder to see what i am talking about.
Now, what's your opinion on this, would you suggest dev to implement animations of that level or something a bit more tame and simple? Like the usual few frames looping.

I was about to say the same thing, I seen a lot of AI games with fluid video animations. Honestly I think it's kind of crazy how many subscribers the developer has on Patreon and yet there's still no animations in the game whatsoever besides the very short one with Himarawi before the blindfold scene. Apparently he said he was supposed to add them in with this version but he never did.

Yeah, animation quality of that level has gotta be implemented.

The other prime examples of AI games with similar high animation quality I know of would be "Blurring the Walls" and "Stains of Blue" and both use anime art styles so that level of animation quality isn't limited to photorealistic styles.

Dev said a new smaller update was following 4 weeks after this one, so maybe in a month ? or next week, idk. As I said ealier in the thread, I feel like this is a way for them (the dev) to make their suscribers pay another whole month for a small update... Still don't understand if they struggle so much, why not hire someone to ease the work ?

He's 100% dragging it out, he said starting in April he was doing this full time and promised bigger and better updates every 6 weeks, someone pointed out since then they keep getting smaller each one. The tavern update is supposed to be out within the next 2 weeks and then the next one isn't until December. The discord mods are next level dick riders too, you can't push back at all and question anything without being banned. He is making a lot of money though so part of me understands why he wants to drag out monetization as much as possible but it's disappointing to see the game being held back.

He's probably too busy doing commissioned work rather than putting all that effort and time into game development.

I have no idea, as far as I'm aware it used to get updated up until the thread got locked because everyone was "spamming". Pretty sure it was always marked as paywalled since the start.

What's more ridiculous about all the drama surrounding this game is that all of it is completely unnecessary.

The developer already hit jackpot with his game. He has a shitload of supporters in 3 different platforms. And achieved that using fucking AI art.

There was no need for all this drama at all.
