Sounds like you have to be playing the game with internet access to view the exclusive content.

It wouldn't make much sense for the leaker to leak the whole game with the downloaded file because we already have the game files and only require one extra file which might be only a few MB.
And you don't need internet access to play the game, you only need internet access to activate your tier in game.

Using the subscribed email to ask the dev to send you the exclusive content files more than one time is how the email and subscriber gets banned. That's about how it works, no?

That's exactly how it works, using the same email to activate multiple times would get the subscriber banned

Well, i did mention in one of my previous post also that the required file is supposed to be in the following folder
HoS-0.18-pc/game/extras
And the name of file is "import.rpy", so shouldn't be too difficult to find it. Also there is no "tracking code" as such, what i suspect is that the above mentioned file may have some sort of identifier used by dev to track the subscriber but it should be easily patchable, thus my request for any leaker to only dm the file first and not to share directly on the thread. Patch made with the import.rpy file then can be easily shared on the thread without any risk of ban.

I played as both free player (and now paid for Jonin), so I can answer. Less than 10% of all content is locked behind paywall, and even that content becomes available to all free players whenever a new release is out (for example right now we are on 0.18 i think, that <10% locked content will be open to all when 0.19 releases to all free members, etc).

So technically even as full free player that never subs you can enjoy all content sooner or later. The reason I choose to sub so early (after 3-4 days of free play) is because:

a) Dev is very active on discord and mods are helpful regardless of sub status
b) it's pretty obvious for me how big difference in effort and quality this game has compared to the usual renpy games i played. And the rest of the benefits are pretty cool too, for me at least.
c) Still nice to get early release each month

As I Said on 17th Apr game is gonna release for public so stop trying to pirate it cuz even though how little work dev puts work is still a work players should respect that and try not to discard someone's work atleast he is releasing it for public not keeping it private so be patient and 17 when it comes out share ur thoughts on it,paywalls are meant for work purposes if he got enough he might upgrade his setup or make updates better atleast I hope

Whatever information I have shared till now is based on the code in game files. If you want, I can share the code snippet as well where api request is being made for downloading the file and location of storing that file. Only speculation I have made is about method in place for identifying the source of leak, which would be clear only after looking through the code in downloaded file.
