While I do have strong feelings about the art featured in this game, I think that 2 pages of critiques are enough to make a point and there's nothing more to say on that subject. Well maybe Balsamique should have done similar game/expansion, since the AI tools are now widely available? And fans do crave more of 'Behind the Dune'

After reading the reviews of my game, which I honestly made just for fun, I noticed a lot of hate. It seems many people were expecting a parody or spin-off of Behind the Dune, and that’s why they’re hating on a project that I released purely for fun—and was charging nothing for it.

Within the few month, I’ll be releasing the 2nd part of House of Taboos! This time, the writing will be much improved, the AI-generated images will be of higher quality, and the overall game quality will be even better.



I’m still learning and working hard to improve, so I hope you’ll give me another chance to show that in the next release instead of hating.

You are giving us a full Python, one of the ñ globally most used language, the Renpy, a VN creator with hundreds statements and different possibilities to adjust every detail you want, all on your hand but you are not using anything at all. Only a slide show over 10 comic pages.

You may not be from 'computer background' but only a quick read over the Renpy developers Manual would be enough at least to know where you are standing.

You're wrong. You don't have pay attention to a few haters and nobody can tell you if you have to make a parody, be funny, serious or the tags involved (like NTR, incest or any other.).
Thhat part is not a mistake, it was your choice and you can be sure, if you change it you only are going to meet new haters.

Pay attention when they find a bug or where you can really improve your story.

You also clearly didn't go through other games too much. Only playing for sometime is enough to learn at least how it works. Then you will start messing with the console or developer mode, later solving bugs then creating files with your own custom preference, which will be gaining complexity.
And you are going to be ready for a small VN sample, translations, compressions, mods, sometimes an Android port if dev not made a mess, fan works and that kind of work. Finally, only after getting all that under your thumb, only then you will be ready to become a real Developer. Your will have to study and the side you unknown, though.

It was far from that and neither said is unsolvable neither expected much Renpy Expertise but is really nothing but a slideshow exported from Infraview like .scr or .exe file and even could get a big improvement using the infragram slideshow export options but if you only click create without even take a look over the options it won't improve a shit. Something like that was done with Renpy since not even used dialogues neither check the screen size nor format, no any effect between scenes, not a single var is changed and the script should be something like...
