Maybe it did. But I wouldn't bet on that net positive gain being all that big since again...this was game was never really set up well for that to begin with.

I don't think sales were ever staling out. I still see this game on the top sellers chart on the Steam Indie charts all the time.

The Grumps were added to the game because of a contest that the devs ran. They were fans of the game, and officially entered, and obviously won due to their fanbase voting for them. The female winner was also a YouTuber, but just not as big, and more adult-oriented and more of a good fit for the game. I also see gay content asked for a lot, and I have been a Patron for a long time. They put polls out and the guys get a lot of votes for direction of new content, though not as much as the females admittedly.

Even if you are right though, I don't see an issue with it. I'm not here for the Grumps or gay content either, but I know there is more content coming that I DO want down the line, so if putting a couple of goofballs in the game and allowing the player to suck a few dicks allows the company to continue doing what they do, then what's the issue? I don't really understand the mindset that the entire product is ruined for you because there's optional content available in it that you don't like.

the game shutdown and open the steam app right after i clicked the warning screen in game?... anyone have this problem?... or do i need to buy this or am i need to close Steam first...?

EDIT : Nevermind i run the game with SmartSteamLoader_x64 and it ok

In case you've not played before. A save game is highly dependent on sexual preference, which path a person chooses during the multiple choice opportunities, and, and whether they are using a Custom Story. In a standard game save, at the end, you might find you can't have sex with anyone. If you want a save game so you can get straight to the sex, then you should just start a new game with an appropriate custom story which opens up the sex from the start.

In case you've not played before. In a standard game save, at the end, you might find you can't have sex with anyone. If you want a save game so you can get straight to the sex, then you should just start a new game with an appropriate custom story which opens up the sex from the start.

Its the new update on the game its when frank found out that people like big cock than big balls and saw Derek big dick in person ill just wait until the update the guide to the 0.19 version

The game was topping that sex game chart years ago before any of that newer content. That it's still there today is likely more a testament to just how wildly successful it was at the time helped by being one of the only daz and non-japanese based sex game options on the platform, and the fact it's sales run dates back to June 2017 (not that being a good sex game didn't have a lot to do with that too, of course). I don't know how or if we can even look up that specified by year sales information though.

There is also a difference between something being asked for and supported by "a notable amount of different people", and a very vocal subsection minority of people who can be consistently loud enough to make something appear a lot more of the former then it really is. Heck...this message board might as well be a breeding ground for general examples of that ;). That said, I'd be curious to see the actual total #'s of those poll results in favor of adding gay content.

Lastly, I never claimed the entire product was "ruined". Quite the opposite multiple times here actually in the past. The core playthrough up until v13 or what not would still be my #1 game recommendation to people who haven't played through it before. But to those that have...yeah. There is a legit reasoning in my book behind why you see so many pop back in, play one of the latter updates, and come away with the same negative outlook of that experience.

I wasn't talking about topping the sex game chart. This game has literally been on the front page of Steam topping ALL of the Steam charts. My mind was blown the first time I saw it in the rotating banner on the Steam home page. It is still consistently in the top sellers charts in the entire Indie section without even filtering to sex games. I see it pop in there all the time as I regularly peruse that section looking for new games.

I don't think it was an overly vocal minority. Like I said, I've been a Patron for a LONG time. This game, early in its development always said it was going to put something for everybody and approach the NSFW content, and regular content for that matter in a diverse way. I remember the polls including the guys a long time ago, though they would always get outvoted in favor of the girls, but it was pretty clear from the way it was presented that we were just prolonging the inevitable and that voting for all the girls first just meant they were doing the guys last, aside from Vicky's finale that is. I think that was always planned to be the last thing. I think the diversity was always part of the mission statement, but the devs let Patreon shape things like "what comes next", vote on character outfits, etc...

Oh, and sorry, I should have been more clear. I wasn't accusing you of that mindset. I just see it a lot on here, and it usually comes tandem with criticizing the dev choices particularly pertaining to the gay content and Game Grumps.

I do disagree however, that the game is worse off now than it was on v13. Yes, those updates have mostly been the YouTube personalities and gay stuff, but they also snuck in a LOT of polish and updates that make the core game better for somebody like me, who ignores all of that said content. I am also stoked for the next update because they are on the last gay one, and the next ones to be implemented are going to be threesomes, lesbian, and playing the game as a female.

From what i understand from the official discord, the uncensoring dlc is borked in 0.19 due to engine change. We might get more information when 0.19.1 will be published.

also... these type of game are not MAC friendly.... i mean coud you play games ( the Steam and EA etc) on MAC?...
