I dont know what you're on about. It loads as ridiculously slow as it always has for me.
Then again, I do run it off of my HDD, not on my SSD, because it doesnt really deserve to take space in my SSD.

Started a new game after downloading it yesterday. Everything was fine till when I loaded it up the next day can't INTERACT with anything or anyone. Cant open doors, talk or anything. I can move, I can go into combat mode by pressing space bar. But other than that I cant do anything. Is there a way to fix this bug? Im not using a custom story.

ps: Also try to disconnect all game controllers. There was a version that was bugged when one was connected.

Well, if restarting the game once with the current version didn't thelp, than doing it a second time won't help anyway.

Edit: Don't know what happened, if there's a specific thing to do to trigger this error. But so far I could not reproduce it, also downloaded the version available on this site.

Deleted all the old saves and deleted any trace of the game on my PC. Downloaded it again and its back to working with no problems.

Yeah, believe it or not (and no, I don't hold a grudge against you or anyone, despite what previous posts might've made you think) - I have an answer for that as well: looking into the code of the game, it becomes very clear that the developers are pretty much "amateurs" and just chugging into the mix what goes along, comes along.

There are SO MANY CLASSES in this fcking thing, randomly scattered all over the place in different namespaces that I can't even begin to wrap my head around. This will not be of any help for the "non-programming-savvy" people but for those who are: it's a nightmare. Just lots and lots of stuff that seems random and thrown about.

As hard as it is to mod, I assume it's just as hard to develop... which is probably why updates have been so slow.

And if you take all that into account (i.e. the sheer incompetence of the people who are in charge) then you should no longer ponder increased load times... since those are probably just a byproduct of whatever the F they think they're doing.

In any case... I've updated the original file of the "FuckDojaCat" mod please download it again, from the same link.

Added / improved features:

• The player's bladder now doesn't auto-recharge (i.e. if you don't drink anything). WHY was this ever a thing?? I thought it was stupid, so I removed it. Fuck the devs who thought you should be FORCED to piss at some point.
• Fixed a minor bug with Doja Cat at the end of her DLC, where she's supposed to beat up a certain character. Previously, due to me making her a "non-combat" character, this scene broke. Now, she only ceases attacks towards the player but will still attack other NPCs whenever prompted to, making all of her content play out as intended.
• You can now actually SEE missed opportunities! Don't you hate it when the game tells you: "Oh, you missed something" but you've got no idea what exactly? ...exactly! Now you see. Missed opportunities will be marked as "failed" and entered into your log. You can then use console commands to re-enable them, which leads us to the following...
• Console commands no longer trigger the "cheating" flag. Using this mod, you can play around with commands as much as you like; even if the game says "Achievements disabled" - THIS IS JUST A VISUAL! - the actual flag will immediately be reverted, and you'll never be branded as "having cheated" in your playthrough.

They were from the current version. I mean I created a new save and the complaints I was giving were with the new save with the fresh House Party Download, but it was mixed in with the old ones(which i never used). Dont know why or how it started working again, but all I care about is that it works.

So Stephanie is not giving me a new dialogue tree after grabbing the gut grip and her moving to the art room during Katherine's bathroom episode. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: so I searched around and figured out that you gotta fill up the empty vodka bottle with water in the kitchen sink in order to progress.

Me too, I saved during Katherine's photoshoot and then everyone but Alison was completly uninteractive, good thing I make successive saves, the one before it was the same, but two saves back was still good.

according to the change log of version 1.0.1 there should be new translation options after all.

- Added translation functionality for DialogueUI Social Meter and Opportunity Popup messages.
- Added translation functionality for gender tags in loading game tooltips.
- Added translation functionality for standard NPC texts "I don't want that now" and text for items added to inventory.

Does anyone know in which file the new options can be found?

I see that folder does not exist for Geman, probably because the current translation is too outdated to have anything there.

I was going to write this i my review but is seemed more like an off topic rant, but i would like to share my thoughts on the gameplay.
this is my 3rd time playing the game
1. first time was pretty early in development but I wasn't that interested
2. second time was the Lety update, which I really like, I recommend it but I'm a little bias I like Lety's content.
3. my last time was this update, that I played because the Doja cat update (i do like her)
here is my issue with that update. you cant just start her content, (I was able to do that with Lety and the other characters). to get to her content I had to progress through Madison content to get her to like me, then I finally invited her in and I hit another wall because I pissed off Derek I just cheated and made him like me to progress. Needed Katherine to like me later I just cheated again, I was already losing interest at this point. Got to the end of the quest and failed because Patrick was still drunk, I reloaded the save and cheated to sober him up and that doesn't work. So I started over (a week later) this time with a guide, played it perfectly (didn't even need to use cheats) got to the end and... Doja cat scene is softcore, OTL. I don't even think these sex scenes are that hot but a softcore scene feels like you are playing a game finally get to the sex scene and its censored. I get it she is a celebrity and she did the VO and its not a parody of the character but its just disappointing, I spent hours to get to this point, and the story isn't bad but its like 10 minutes of content.

i can't believe one of the biggest popstars alive today went out of her way to cameo in some obscure sketchy porn videogame. this is truly some cyberpunk shit. i don't get what Doja Cat gets out of this - she's already a real-life sex symbol, whereas porn games are more associated with incels than anything else (i mean, look at some of the earlier comments in this thread...). it's an ill-judged cultural clash for her brand/reputation imo. i wonder how much longer it is before our most mainstream sex symbols all just do full-blown porn, rather than coquettishly alluding to their sexuality whilst remaining pretty chaste in their public work.

learn that a toned body is rather easy to achieve with consistency and there are quite a lot of other factors that go into rating someone's hot-ness.
but yes, to each their own ofc. everyone has different preferences.

unlikely. this case is one of the exceptions because it was a good payday for her without compromising too much with how she's keeping up her image. this decision was likely vetted by her PR team too, so you don't need to stress your brain much about it. at the end of the day everything happens for a reason and most of the time, that reason is money.

and it'll still happen. don't think for a moment that her PR team did not think of this possibility, they just accepted it which means the payday was pretty good. plus, it will only be in unofficially releases that would be most likely bug ridden (similar to people modding almost any A-lister actress or singer into the game). if someone with the right skillset wants to do so they could bring angelina jolie or taylor swift into this game even lmao.
