That ... or they didn't like it in the first place. Now that I think of it it probably also was the only content of that type and my choice of words was rather poor. After all you can still untie Ashley's top and soil her dress (but afaik nothing that goes beyond pranks).

The arc didn't make a lot of sense either: So she had some naughty photos on her phone, boohoo. To get rid of them she does everything the player asks her for, she would not only have sex with him, let him take photos with another camera ... yeah, right. And last but not least you could force her to run around the house naked.
I am not entirely sure how that would have helped against people seeing her naked

See... this is the type of argument we need to discredit someone. It makes sense, it's logical, it's rational, it's rooted in facts. Thank you. Yes, perhaps Madison's "blackmail" story arc didn't make sense. In that case, they were potentially right to have it removed, and I would never object to that (if it made sense).

Nevertheless. There's very little that can be done to make me return to modding HP at this point. Unless the devs officially declare that work is DONE (and the game won't receive any further updates, not even a minor patch) I wouldn't even consider it for a split second. Too much additional work for too little profit. Well... actually, for ZERO profit, since I've never made anything from this anyways. But why would I? This is a hobby, not a job.

I can relate to that. Doing something for fun or as a hobby is one thing but seeing that the work was for naught as soon as a new update is out (and they still get out quite regulary) ... nah.

Sometimes you need to hurry. You need to lure a char away and grab stuff before (s)he comes back and catches you.
Aside from such time limited events that you can pretty much do whatever you want.

A big part of the gameplay is to find out where to get stuff and what to do next. And that can take some time.


Do you know point & click adventures like Monkey Island, Leisure Suit Larry, Kingsquest and so on? The gameplay is pretty much that, just the controls are different and of course it's on 3D (so it's probably closer to Tex Murphy games like "Under a Killing Moon", "The Pandora Directive", "Overseer" or "Tesla
Effect").

But it will most definitly not come back in the main game. They removed all that was not consensual.

I would welcome a ingame solution for a photoshooting however, have the girl pose without using console commands.

Well, Katherine has its own photo shooting. And Madison got a storyline in which she is the one making art while the player is posing.

A DLC is still in the making. During the past year they have been working on DLCs, a female main character and customization options. Also the script engine got reworked as you can read in previous comments from users having difficulties to understand the new commands.

For all we know, part of the team might be working on Office Party anyway. The DLCs don't require everyone to be included, neither would a new project require all membes when work just started. Every company with a certain size has to have at least two projects going on at the same time if they don't wan to fire and (re)hire people all the time.

House Party was kinda dated from the start, at least in the visual departmant, and I'm skeptical that Office Party will look any less dated. It's the curse of using Daz imports in real time rendering games. Polycount of the PS3 era with the performance of the latest Ubisoft flagship title. And soft body simulation is non-existent, which sucks because porn games are kinda all about the squishy parts.

Not as dated as before. Since 1.3.0, late last year, they changed to new Unity version and new renderer. Probably the same tech they will use for Office Party.

I never thought that 2017 released game will eventually get DLSS slider, but here we are.

She's not the only celebrity they have under contract. And yes, the game has quite a good reputation on several commercial platforms.
In the story she is Madison's new neighbor. Be aware however that you won't see her naked. Her content is not explicit.

Sup everyone. Just chiming in after a while of hiatus to let you know that I have officially "retired" from working on this game now. I still don't have regained access to my old, lost files (with no reason to believe that I ever will in the future), and working on it again from scratch hasn't posed viable to me, as a thing that I do in my spare time with zero benefit.

In other words, I simply couldn't be arsed to bring myself starting all over, while all that would do is to add some more variety to the sex that's already in a (pretty much average, if not below average) sex simulator. My true, unfiltered and honest feelings? If you so desperately wanna fap and have full control over all the characters involved... get The Sims 4 (base game is free to play nowadays), install a few mods and go to town.

As for House Party, I'm afraid FDC version 1.2.2.1 will remain the last working one, indefinitely at this point.

That doesn't mean I won't be monitoring this thread anymore; for I'm still (somewhat) interested in where the game goes, and what it might eventually end up being once it's actually "finished" (i.e. receiving no more updates). That's just as an observer though, not as a creator.

I jsut want to chime in that if you want a true sandbox experience with "pre-existing" characters and have a beefy enough PC (and have like 32 GB or more RAM), try going down the rabbit hole Virtamate. You don't need to have VR to play it but mess with it enough and it's a good overall sandbox smut experience.

Unless you're playing on an older version and using a certain mod, wink wink... to which I happened to provide appropriate textures. If I ever were to redo this entire thing, my main goal would probably be (among other things) to somehow make it so that you don't need to press a button to load uncensored textures into the game. It would just *be* there. But for that, I have too little knowledge of the Unity engine and its asset formats, unfortunately.

Wait... what?! So Liz Katz cannot be seen in the flesh now? HOW?? I vividly remember their entire DLC trailer hinging on the fact that she said (and I quote): "You get to fuck me, okay? Y-you can fuck me." - unless this is a massive misunderstanding and the sex scenes are unchanged, I'd personally be pretty pissed. Late and "after the fact" changes introducing censorship are nothing I have many sympathies for, to put it mildly.

But alas, I don't have a "beefy PC" at the moment, which is still part of the problem of why I had to stop mod development to begin with: that is, my electronic devices being gone ever since about 6-7 months ago. I could give you a very brief rundown of how my life has been progressing thus far (and maybe it'll be semi-interesting to others? Idk, maybe not. Probably not) but whatever.

I've been struggling to keep myself alive ever since, barely making rent and affording enough to pay other bills that are due each month. My current way of managing things is a subscription to a service called "Shadow PC" - a virtual computer in the cloud. This is NOT an ad, I neither endorse nor condemn their product. But it's pretty much the only way I've been able to do *anything* (on a "decent" enough machine) at all. This is driven by a tiny Lenovo ThinkCentre on my desk, which on its own can barely play DOOM 3 from 2004 if anything. It's enough for office work and streaming though. So I am slowly but surely attempting to reclaim my entire digital life, by rebuilding what was lost... one step at a time. And that's a goddang fuckin' long journey, because I'm old. Or at least I feel old.
