How many adult games do you now enjoy?

The title is to do with the amount of games now out there, but also how crap a lot or them are or just slowly developed that you go off them or for what other reasons it may be. So what games are left that still do it for you?

If I'm honest the only game I can now enjoy is The Humbling Experience. Its sexy, its witty, the main character has an awesome bush and she does come across like a woman in her 30's. It has a huge gap between each release but when they do come out you feel the wait was really worth it.

I used to love Lily of the Valley and My New Life, but both went the way of crazy town, bugged to fuck or just stopped doing it for me.

Darkcookies 'Summertime Saga' is a very fun game but the restarts annoy me so I will wait for the finished product which I'm sure will be amazing.

All the rest are too boring, badly written or venture into stuff I'm just not into.

I stopped downloading every updated version, now I'm even avoiding trying versions 0.01. Trickling content and starting all over due to saves not working just isn't worth it. Now I wait to download every 10 updates. .10 .20 etc. At least has to be substantial.

But it's true, there are few gems out there. If we're talking WIP games, I'm enjoying;
A Zombie's Life • Summertime Saga • The Twist • Urban Demons • Dual Family - probably others.

thats so true.. and then the abandonend games, the switched games like LoV. i still have to use a watchlist,
my latest gem: hack n stalk: developed, finished, modded in a fair time
on patreon still in coceter chronicles... but ambivalent in development
p.s... and still in tora productions and vdategames... they are pioneers (pusoy style is not mine)

big brother of course
and Lesson of Passion games. (not news)
LOP have some amazing games, it was their animations holding them back for me, but with games like Living With Temptation 1&2 as well as the Elanor series they're certainly getting much better. Just wish they introduce different figured women rather than the fake page 3 type stuff. But its their vision I suppose.

Big Brother wasn't for me. I can't stand that weak cuckold shit.

Just my two cents but I feel that Patreon ruined the adult game "scene" so to speak. Just follow the bouncing ball..... My analogy of todays game scene is a person standing there telling me about this great idea of a game he has, asking me to contribute to him so his dream can become reality, right? He makes this great sales pitch and #1 it sounds like it could be a awesome game (less than 10%), #2 it sounds like the exact same stuff everyone else is doing (more than 90%). He even has a demo he can show me, so I give it a shot and #1 its a buggy, no content mess (more than 90%), #2 it actually looks/works pretty good (about 8%) \, #3 its freaking a fantastic (less than 2%). The worst part is that just because it started out great doesn't mean it will stay that way. Dating My Daughter started out great but soon became Dating and Fucking everyone but my daughter and Big Brother started off great and challenging but self destructed because Eric went poof and it became just a grind fest. I MISS GOBLINBOY!!!!!!!!

I've been contemplating leaving the scene for a few months to come back to the WIP games that I enjoy, without having to wait for updates and replay due to saves not working but I really enjoy

Good Girl Gone Bad
Kingdom of Deception
The Coceter Chronicles
Valiant Warrior Astrid
Wicked Choices
Claire's Quest
Overgrown: Genesis fka Sex Zombie
My Girlfriend's Amnesia

Also really interested in where The Fate of Irnia ends up going. Depraved Awakening as well. And Parental Love if it doesn't go to shit due to the Patreon Crusade, Ada is supposedly being gutted from the game.

Depends on your definition of enjoyment. I enjoy more than a dozen games that I look forward to every update, even if its just a single in game day. There are a few that I like that I wait a bit between updates, because they don't add a lot of content every time.

I think it's unfair to, as a consumer, sit here and complain that a project isn't done yet. There are months of work that go in before developers even have an initial release. If you're not happy with monthly updates, learn some patience. Wait until there's enough content to satisfy you.

A quick list:

My Sweet Neighbors
I love Daddy - complete
Dual Family
Dreams of Desire - Wait between updates
Good Girl Gone Bad - every update is worth playing
Sisterly Lust
A Perverted Family - I might wait between updates here
Wicked Choices - One of the best written projects out there, every update is great
Intimate Relations - Can't wait for more
Dreaming of Dana - Ptolemy really writes well
View of Family - might wait between updates
Blooming Love - this game is so cute
Depraved Awakenings
Babysitter - might wait between releases.

But seriously, if you're not satisfied, don't complain, go out and make something better. That's what I'm doing.

Thanks for reminding me that The Humbling Experience is out there! I need to check out the latest version as it's been a while since my latest playthrough. I ought to pick up a few other things here too.

Coceter Chronicles and My Girlfriend's Amnesia are the two I'm really following at this point. The best game I've seen in quite some time is probably Saving Chloe by Tlaero and Mortze though. That game is just... wow. I also tend to play through everything on vdategames and LOP. Hopefully LOP gives us something good soon.

I finally played Intimate Relations and enjoyed it a lot. The writing is amazing and the latest update ends on a perfect suspenseful note.

2 it sounds like the exact same stuff everyone else is doing (more than 90%).
Demand and supply...don't blame a developer for trying to get noticed and actually making money via Patreon as in 95% of all cases the patrons decide what game passes the 0.1 stage...if it looks and feels like something already out providing the same kinks everyone wants to see chances of financial success are enhanced...sad for some but true nevertheless.
If you risk doing it differently...being a developer who truly wants to see his/her own ideas realized you may create a masterpiece (or not) but idealism isn't exactly the most marketable trait and chances are high your work might not be noticed or not supported as much as the once that run after the Big Brothers success phenomenon...( The Humbling Experience is a good example of that...it took him ages to pass a noteworthy income via Patreon and I agree it's one of a few gems out in the field )

My clear all-time-favorite is After Invasion: Powerful female (male possible, but didn't try it) protagonist dominating her mom, sister, female milf neighbor, truely hot characters, a dystopian cyberpunk setting even with some story and RPG elements - and no need to touch any of the male characters (she can, but I for sure will not play that routes).

Other porn games I like:
A Milf's Tale: Great artwork, sexy female protagonist and the ability to play a 100% lesbian route for protagonist and daughter (not with each other ... yet?). Straight route possible too, but I didn't play it.
Inevitable Relations: Very hot lesbian incest game.
Ladies Super League of Lesbos: Lesbian fighting RPG game. Pretty early version, but I hope it will get further updates, the idea is just too good. And please don't bring male characters into this
Hypno Slave: A lot of domination, some fighting and some hot mother-daughter action
Lust and Power: Great artowrk and a story worth mentioning. While I usually prefer lesbian games, I do like this mom-son corruption game. The mom is one of the hottest characters you will find in porn games, and the protagonist looks like a grown man, not some teenage boy.
Incest Story: Story and gameplay are forgettable. But the scene, where the mom licks the sister's pussy is hot.

Honorable Mention:
Sims 4 with Wicked Whims: No story of course, but when it comes to the variety of scenes possible, nothing beats this.

My games list has drastically changed, although The Humbling Experience is still my number choice. Can't wait for the next update.

Games I've been enjoying....

My Sister Mia. For an RPGMaker adult game they keep the flow working brilliantly unlike the rest.
My Sweet Neighbours. For me is overshadows Dating My Daughter without the characters appearing and behaving under aged.
Good Girl Gone Bad. A really good game with many paths and multiple story choices which change to reflect your character.
Willy Dickhard Adventure. Loads of fun and raunchy animations. Content really does get better with each update.

And if My New Life wasn't so grindy and broken then I would still be enjoying the models in this game as no other game offers big booty.

Right now, starting with games that are already completed, just the Illusion Games (and with this I mean only AA, AA2 and sometimes AG3. Others are, or too boring or they don't interest me that much) and of course Jack-O-Nine, since technically speaking it's a finished game. If I've to make a list instead for those that are on this site and currently "in development" and I follow of course, I choose:

- Strive for Power
- Dream of Desire
- Alonexp
- A Town Uncovered
- Corruption
- Eratoho K
- Fallen Doll
- Hentai Highschool
- Roundscape (but I believe that with the next update, the game will be probably complete since there's nothing else to add. Maybe some "DLC" for some char, some more scenes, but other than that the game will be mostly done)
- Renryuu
- The Twist
- Towergirls Kingdom Conquest
- Tower of Trampe (or Trample. Who knows xD)
- Latex Dungeon
- Lilith's Throne
- League of Corruption
- Z Kingdom
- Tales of Androgyny
- The Fate of Irnia
- Town of Passion

Well, this morning someone pointed out to me that I've reviewed over 180 visual novel/games on this site so far... If that gives a ball park figure of how many of these things I've tried playing/reading over the last 4 months...

I usually find that there are an epic ton of new/starting erotic visual novel/games that try to follow the same exact formula as each other... Most don't last very long and/or produce extremely slowly because no one wants to invest money into them, either from boredom, unoriginality, and/or lack of any meaningful content... Using different models and slapping on a fancy title, yet following the same base content without some unique, creative, and meaningful story to go with it, just means it's gonna falter eventually...

There are so many factors that effect how well a product does... And only when the right key elements come together in just the right way, at just the right moment, supported by just the right skilled people, will it actually prosper and do fair to well... It's the massive influx of people wanting to jump in on the patron site/s gold rush that isn't helping anything at all... Money doesn't guarantee quality, only quantity...

The big ones from the past couple years took a while, or are still taking a while to get to completion, even with money rolling in... It's just a part of this niche industry...

Personally I have a list of games I keep installed, most of which are still under construction, because I plan to keep following them now and then... I don't usually download every single patch for a given VN/game... I usually give it a couple content patches before revisiting... Unless it is so new, that i want to check a new content patch right away to see if it's something I still want to keep playing/reading...

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

But I do agree, the list of highly developed and/or completed erotic/adult visual novels/games that I really enjoy is fairly small as well, and I don't go back and replay most of them all that often at all... Usually because they don't have a whole lot of replay value (i.e. enough variance each play through to make it worth replaying) and/or because I've seen/read everything in them already... I do the same thing with normal books/novels... I may go back and re-read one I liked a few years later, but not within a short period of time... So why would I do the same thing with these, unless there is enough new content to make it worth the time...

But I'm also always looking around for something new or something I've not tried yet... And sometimes, you can find a diamond in the ruff, that may not be popular and/or doesn't get downloaded a whole lot, but still was fun and entertaining... I'm a sucker for good romance/love stories in these things, so for me that is always an automatic plus when I run into those...

I've had The Wind's Disciple downloaded for so long but have yet to play it. For some reason its not really pulling me in, but at a certain point, find those diamonds in the ruff becomes a strenuous task, so I'll probably give a go sometime soon.

and the first two chapters of Daughter for Dessert were amazing but its one of those I've just put on the shelf until a few more chapters come along. Don't know how Patreon hasn't jumped all over it with that title, but I pray they don't.
