Hello, Feb 2025, this works for me. View attachment 4552050
Did you do anything specific to get it to work? I downloaded tampermonkey and installed the script but the button didn't appear. I've never messed with scripts before so I could be doing something wrong but please let me know if you did anything different from me so I can get it working if possible

Hello, did you do anything additional to make the script work? I'm using tampermonkey as the script manager, but no new button shows up on the manga I'm trying to download

Hello, I first downloaded tamper monkey, then clicked the link to the script. At first, I didn't think it did anything so I clicked the link again. Didn't do anything else or adjust any settings. I do want to add that I am using Librewolf as my browser, not sure if that would make a difference.

I feel like I should also mention, were any of the works (SPECIFICALLY MANGA) you successfully used this script for were restricted to either a special viewer(dlsite viewer or cypherguard) and/or stream-only?

Ok, I tried Librewolf and things got weird. I went to my library page as normal, but the button still doesn't show up. I reinstall like you did, still doesn't show up. I CLOSE THE SIDEBAR OUT OF SHEER CURIOSITY and it shows up...in chinese for some reason. BUT, when I download using the script's new button, it gets the manga name, gets the right amount of pages(but tnot the pdf version included with the purchase), but looking at the pages in the downloaded zip themselves...they're all garbage images with a tv-static-like image. Did you look at the zip you downloaded to see if it came out correctly? When I left the page and came back, the script's button disappeared again. I tried opening and closeting the sidebar, but it didn't come back. I tried clicking to the root directory in DLsiteplay and then it came back after repeating this a few times. I downloaded the manga a second time, but its still just static-like images. I haven't left the page yet, but I'm gonna keep experimenting to see if I can figure out what can make the script download button consistently appear.

The zip images was the same quality as the dlsite viewer pages, I did not experience a downgrade in quality. Sorry, can't think of what could be the issue

No progress on the image integrity front. All I figured out was that the button in LibreWolf seems to show up when the page is re-loaded without leaving the work's page for some reason. So clicking through the file directories makes it show up, but not going in and out the dlsite play settings and whatnot.

Ok, so I messed with the downloader a bit and was able to get a single doujin downloaded. I tried the Librewolf method and got the same results of just blank static images, so I switched back to chrome and realized on the sidebar thingie it requests that you activate 'developer mode.' I followed the steps (it was pretty easy), closed DLsite completely and reopened it, and now the chinese download button will appear when I refresh the DLsite play page. When I click download a little white box will appear withing nothing on it, but it did download the file and didn't have any image loss that I could see.

yeye.png

That said, whenever I tried to download any other doujin the white box would pop up before it would quickly take me to the actual scrolling site and not download the files.
yeye 2.png
Any doujin with the little green book icon (which is many of them unfortunately) takes me to the scrolling site without the downloading the files. Doujins with a designated jpeg download don't do this, but the white box just sits there without downloading anything. I uninstalled and redownloaded the script to see if that could 'reset it' but that didn't do anything.

I also tried this with and without a VPN which didn't make a difference

Regardless, it's still worth a try to enable developer mode and see if you can get it to work, Maybe try activating developer mode on Librewolf too to see if that makes a difference. If all else fails, perhaps we could ask Obe11 to log into our DLsite accs and download the doujins onto his computer then send us the files, lol. His seems to be the highest chance of working consistently given the english download button he's got.

Obe11, Let us know if you'd be down to do that lol

Haha that's the auto translate working.

As for the scrolling box, I get them too, however...

Ok, the "developer mode" method for Chrome ACTUALLY worked for the most part.
As was mentioned earlier, it produces the manga zip file with images from the dlsite player pages. Problem is that, also as previously mentioned, is that its the same resolution as those pages, even if the actual dlst file or website contains higher resolution versions, which doesn't make it all that better than just using ShareX on the dlsiteplayer website pages. So, as it stands, while we have a working method (for the time being) for Chrome, its not the IDEAL outcome.

Also, I don't know if "dev tools on" is the same thing as developer mode (couldn't find a developer mode) in Librewolf, but nothing changed for the better with it on, as Librewolf still gave me garbage images.

I had the same exact problem as well! All static images. And I'm using macos. If you've figured out how to download the manga please help us!

Hi,
I'm desperately trying to retrieve the latest Doujin purchase.
I installed the script, the button appears. When I click on the button, the frame appears at the bottom, but after a second or two, the player opens, and apparently nothing has been downloaded.
I'm using Chrome and developer mode is enabled.
Thank you for your help.

I haven't done anything new with the dlsite extension, nor have I bought anything else on DLsite since, but the method I used still worked for me (remember this doesn't work for videos), so I'll try to write a step by step guide for the whole process in a single post:

Note: this is SPECIFICALLY FOR IMAGE WORKS/MANGA (non-videos, non-games, JUST plain images, no fancy file formats) THAT OTHERWISE DEMAND YOU TO EITHER VIEW ON THE WEBSITE OR DOWNLOAD THE WORK AS A PROPRIETARY FILE FORMAT (known as .dlst) THAT ONLY ACCEPTS TWO SPECIFIC PDF VIEWERS TO DECRYPT THE FILES.

1. This was all done on windows desktop, with google chrome as the browser. (I don't know if any of this works in incognito mode, for the record)

2. Download tampermonkey as your script manager.

3. Go to this link and add/install this script to the list of scripts you have on your tampermonkey page :

4. Click on the extension icon (the little jigsaw puzzle piece to the side of the url bar/search bar)

5. In the top right corner of the screen with the list of your downloaded extensions, there's a toggle that says "developer mode", make sure its turned ON (it should be blue). And, you know, also make sure tampermonkey is enabled as well.

6. CLOSE YOUR ACTIVE GOOGLE CHROME TABS AND GOOGLE CHROME WINDOWS. Basically, this "reboots" chrome to have the script active.

7. Open google chrome again and go to DLsite (I don't believe you need to clear any caches nor cookies). Then, log in to your DLsite account and click on "my items" (the little open book icon in the top right). You will be taken to DLsite Play, and be shown the list of your purchased works. Click on the doujin work you want to download. You will be taken to the DLite Play page for that work.

8. If its a dlst-viewer exclusive manga (a glorified pdf that is encrypted), when you download NORMALLY AS THE SITE INTENDS TO ALLOW, you receive a dlst file, rather than a zip file or folder containing the manga/image sequence. This is what we want to circumvent. Ignore any pdf files, we cant't do anything with those invloving this method.

9. Note: the button that appears as part of the greasyfork script linked in this post does not exist initially, this is to be expected with this method. These next few steps might not be necessary for everyone, who knows.

10. On the page that lists the folder and the pdf file (the url looks like this: (this is just an example, not an actual page)), click on the FOLDER, not the pdf.

11. While on the FOLDER'S page (do not click on any of the images), either refresh the folder's page, or GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS PAGE (to the directory, or what I call the "tree" page, since the url ends with the word "tree"). You can go back using Chrome's back arrow in the top left corner, the "back" option in the right-click menu, or a hotkey that takes you to the previous page.

12. The script's download button should have appeared now. If not, go into the folder AGAIN. Yes, you just did a back-and-forth.

13. In the top right corner of the table that lists the folder's contents, the script's download button now has appeared. You can go back again to the "tree" page and it will still be there, but there's a couple of things that can make the script's download button disappear (more on that later). You'll know it when you see it 'cuz its blue and has Chinese text in white. Click on it, and a box appears at the bottom of the screen. This box is not really relevant, so ignore it if you wish. Now WAIT for the download to actually begin, please have patience, it might take a few seconds to initiate. Clicking the script's download button on the folder's page or the "tree" page does not have a difference as far as I know, you still get the same file(s) either way.

14. The files downloaded are only the files in the website's folder (so the pdf in the "tree page" isn't downloaded either), you will receive them as a zip, automatically named the same as the work's title. However, images downloaded are at the default resolution of the DLsite Play VIEWER. Meaning YOU CANNOT DOWNLOAD THE ORIGINAL RESOLUTION VERSIONS WITH THIS METHOD (as far as I'm aware).

15. Unzip the file(s) and view at your leisure. A known issue is attempting to do this on other browsers (like librewolf mentioned in another post in this thread) may result in the zip file containing only junk images that are just miscellaneous color patterns.

16. ALTERNATIVE TO STEPS 11 and 12: instead of a back-and-forth, you can just reload/refresh while in the folder's page.

NOTE: If you reload the "tree" page (whether its chrome's reload button (the curved arrow in the top left), the reload option in the right-click menu, or a hotkey), view media on the work's DLsite Play page (images and pdfs both do this), or leave the DLsite Play page for that specific work (this also includes going back to the DLsite Play page that lists all your purchased works), the script's download button will disappear and you will have to do steps 11 and 12 (or just reload the folder's page) to make the button reappear.

In short: use chrome, have tampermonkey, have the script mentioned in this post installed in tampermonkey, make sure dev mode is turned on in your browser extension menu, close and reopen your browser windows, go to the dlsite-viewer-only manga you purchased, go to its folder and reload the page, click on the new button written in chinese and wait for your download to finish.

Guys, something much simpler.
Use this extension -->
then whenever visiting a
click the ARC extension, and then right click each image --> Save Image as...
It will save them like regular PNGs
Sure, it's not automated, but so far it's the best method to manage encrypted files extraction that worked for me
I bet its should work with other non-animated files (maybe animations too?)

I dont know if this is a new thing or not but for those still struggling go into your extension > details for tamper monkey and slide allow user scripts, I also did allow access to file URLs not sure if both were needed to fix my issue of this not working but it works now.

Well, I can confirm it works, but the files are still not the original resolutions, and these are somehow the same image quality as the zip file download extention files are, yet at a larger filesize?

Yeah, they still come out in the same resolution as the browser viewer...
But I guess it's still the most punctual way to extract them images as of now (hopefully that changes soon)
One thing I took from all that is to never buy such works that cannot be viewed normally and directly in explorer again,
such an undeserved pain (it really isn't a GOOD way to keep your works safe from being illegally shared AND keep your customers happy)
