Another alternative I would recommend is Sandboxie-plus, an open source sandbox-based isolation software, which also support custom locale language.

Did you read the instructions on OP? If not, read the instructions on OP. If yes, good luck Googling the answer, because I'm not going to.
Everything except virtual machines has been tried for a long time... And to install and configure a virtual machine, I will spend more time on this than on the game... Thanks anyway...

Cheers! I am using AppLocale on a win 10 VM in VMware Workstation 17.

I can run e.g. this https://f95zone.to/threads/futanari...us-daughter-final-chaos-r-freak-strike.93851/

It starts and runs without issue. I just cannot make it full Screen. I run 1920 in Window mode but when I choose full Screen, the actual game is looks smaller but it has a huge black corner around it.

Is this due to VM issues or the emulator?

Thank you very much in advance!

What is this? and why do I need it? I'm so confused
tl;dr: Your default computer settings doesn't understand code containing Japanese characters. You need to either switch your computer setting to read Japanese (locale change) or download a program that will help it do it without changing the setting (locale emulator).

Okay, but ranting about it here isn't going to fix that. If you're looking for help, you're going about it in the wrong way.

Didn't search the thread if it's mentioned, but packages the old xupefei in a way that requires no install.

Y'all are making this harder than it needs to be. Just Youtube your OS and the respective set of instructions. You don't need to change locale and get an emulator, it's one or the other. Then after doing that, make sure you're extracting the files in Japanese and not Unicode. Again, Youtube is your best friend. No one out here has the time to watch the video for you and try to explain it in a way that'll somehow make more sense than watching a video. If you're that desperately helpless, hire IT or something.
