TK8000 has a Patreon with a decent number of supporters. That's about the widest audience these games can get, aside from a Steam release, but these graphics are not allowed on Steam for stupid reasons, which is why I recommend DAZ-3D for next game so he can get a Steam release and reach a very wide audience. Updates are slower, but in the long run, money is better.
Tl;dr: I for one would (greatly) prefer dev stick with HS/koikatsu.
The combination of decent h-scene audio, wide variety of animations and character designs, and the fact that it doesn't consume significant time/resources rendering images/animations allow for a volume- and variety- of animations/stills that no daz game can come close to; you're lucky if you get a 3-10 second looped animation once or twice a sex scene in many daz games, rest still images.
Plus I think the humor and tone of these games fits very well w/ HS/koik. House Arrest, Solvalley School (#1 favorite adult game, alex&kirk are freaking hilarious), and HS Tutor are all 5 star game with orders of magnitude more content than any western-style rendered game I've played, and endearingly lovable characters that make me return to replay all 3 on a regular basis even years after release. I do not think dev could have created such creative, engaging titles with western-style rendering, and there would be a fraction the number of H-scenes as in current engine. Moar fap FTW.
