Honestly I liked the set up so much I been dinking around with RPG maker and what not, but broke as hell been trying make 1.99 steam game, but I can't where I want it with such horrible income from my shitty job, I can't really commission anything with out saving up for months. I am actually tempted now to dink around a little with the studio from that new illusion game I have the game didn't play it much, but textures and options for clothing at least for school setting very good.
Now I just got come up with a plot and setting while I work on my mapping skills, at least I noticed if you put some T&A in people seem more forgiving liek that nanomachine one when first tried it I was like "why all the buildings the same in town, why is there so much dead space?" Then 40 minutes latter I am holding sprint button racing through empty space trying to get laid ignoring the map just trying to remember who lives in what house lol
Can't do that with a clean RPG maker game got make them maps pretty to look at as people explore the map for hidden boxes, and side quests. Granted I bet I spend more time on the poser for each scene then I do mapping
And the whole don't FAP to your own games I get that, like I said now I am trying this stuff out got a whole bunch of RPG maker assets from humble bundles and keeps saying to myself "if I want my perfect H game I gonna have to make it.." Just like I look at the sales of 1.99 games on steam and go "hmm even if I sell 100 copies some how I could use that to pay off my debt, and if I sell 500 some how.. hmm I could just keep using my job to pay debt and look at commissioning artwork for next one..."
So now I done so many videos and tutorials instead of going "Man I can't wait to make a super fun game for me to enjoy!" Instead its "how would steam user who complains about every thing see this, how would my target audience like this? Could I do better with assets I got, or should I tone this part down.." Its why I like idea of using that new illusion game now for test run as it were see if I can make a demo little longer then this and see if people like it.
I mean I got a few great plot ideas and what not for a my Magnum Opus H game but I just feel like crap every time I look at assets and skill I got now no matter what format I use, like twine, renpy, and RPG maker I just feel like if I do that one I don't want to settle so I got do another project and hope I can fiance that one. But that one will be a bitch as its gonna be a huge task and commissioned art alone I would like as there is no way I can use an illusion game to do that project probably more then I make in 4 months lol.
But seeing things like this with a great start make me feel confident I can do another dream game idea, and I got say after seeing all the other illusion char poser pic games I like this one the most but I also like hand drawn idea and this does more of a drawn feel to it yet still 3d.
