A lot of devs have Patreons. Acquiesing to feedback can be a way to not alienate any future Patrons. Even if not, I mean, nobody wants to pour passion into something, only for the reception to be "this sucks". We're only human. Makes sense why they do it. Wish they would stick with it though. Always so sad when a great game like Heritage nerfs the MC's super thick dick. Still a great game, but even in games with big ones you usually didn't get that girth so it was sad to lose.
