Maybe this question has been asked, its something that bugs me enough to break my immersion just enough. I do not know if it gets answered later in the VN, I am not sure how far in I am.

How the heck did Hunter's mom not recognize him? I know he had a hair color change, but the name should be the same... Unless his father took him and made him forget the one his mother knew him as and gave him another? I know Brad is an airhead and a douche but come on! And with his features she has to see the resemblance. Heck Brad is a clone of his father and Hunter kind of is the same, minus the epic beard.

Also, a man needs at least some epic hair or an epic beard. I have beard envy btw, but my hair makes up for it.

Anyway having fun, back to reading.

I've only begun to see the name Hunter recently, don't know anyone with that name personally.
And he does look like them to me, minus the beard. That might be part of it, it might be the Clark Kent effect, but instead of glasses. I will not be surprised when half the girls he ends with are his sisters... LOL

Oh I believe you. I was just noting I don't know anyone by that name personally. I know its a gender neutral name which might be why its gone up in popularity in the past 20 odd years.

I wonder what the percentage of people named John, Juan or similar derivate is. I know in latin countries Jesus is another really popular one, but I bet John and its variants have to be at the top of the list of most used names. There is a reason why the term John Doe exists... lol.

I just started playing the other game, his mom seems like a smart cookie there, so maybe its the beard and the blond to black hair color thing. Sunny(MC of that other game) was also the spitting image of his biological father. Its got to be that beard, it like the Superman/Kent eyeglasses effect, plus the MC is a Starlord (half alien prince), so maybe some dormant power obfuscates things.

I can't wait to read the next part.
