thats probably because it got splited and this is part 2 and you dont need a save. next time just read the changelog.

Why game every time you starts play, even when it load save, resets all names to default? I thought that our custom names are stored in save.

Ya theres one new day added every week i believe.
And the release for public is super spread out in that time frame where im pretty sure there is 2 updates already out before we get public version.
