I am curious: what game got you into becoming a porn games enjoyer?

My very first AVN experiene was with Melody by MrDots. I couldn't be happier with that decision actually.

But I'd been watching those "playthrough" type videos on YouTube for game series like Horizon, Life Is Strange, The Witcher, and others for a while prior to discovering the whole "rule 34" thing, so maybe those games initially "inceptioned" (lol) the idea into my head in the first place.

Before that point, I never really felt a particular desire to play "porn" games. Actually, I still don't. I like Adult Visual Novels where the story is what engages the player. The sex scenes are just a bonus. In these games, I look for a romantic experience, and Melody did just that. Although, the harem setting is also nice when love is what drives that setting.

I've never become a "porn games" enjoyer. However, the first adult game that I enjoyed was he original Leisure Suit Larry on an Amiga 500, back around 1990.

My parents didn't allow me to play that series. If only they knew how that turned out...

For me it wasn't any specific game but rather kisekae sets like FKiss--especially the Bondage Fairies sets.

After having tried some random flash porn/sex game back in the day I never bothered with them until one day I just decided to randomly try and search for porn games again and just stumbled upon Treasure of Nadia in its early stages (like update 4 or 5 of it.)
After seeing how far porn games had come in terms of animations, visuals, and gameplay I started playing a few more.
Still play NLTs stuff and been into Photo Hunt which I found not too long after I had caught up on Treasure of Nadia in its early updates.

My true discovery of actual hentai which lead to games later was a mention of x-change in one of game magazines. Back in early 2000's i think

Then I think it was Bonetown or Bonecraft or both That was the first taste of those, but further down the road random "flash" games online And some random sextronic discoverys later sims 1 mods

My discovery of adult games was as innocent as it could be

But can't really say I was addicted back then, just curious, since i'v spent most of times outside anyways. See back then the internet wasn't that interesting.

Defenestration. This is gonna be a little out there, but that game literally changed my life. Something about it sparked my imagination, and I couldn't stop thinking about how I would re-do the world and story to slightly tweak it.

Ended up launching my gamedev and C# programming career, as well as solidifying my love for female-protagonist games.

The Leisure Suit Larry games were the first, but those were more naughty than porn.

Bible Black was the first true porn game I played (which got me into hentai games), although the only other one I can remember now is Sexy Beach.

Years later I ran into a game called Fetish Locator on some website, followed the rabbit hole down to F95 and found thousands of games I didn't know existed! First game I played here was Timestamps, then Follower (which still got my favorite LI of all time).

I, too, started with games from the era of Season of Sakura, Three Sisters Story, and Immoral Sisters.

Back then the game that i remember being the most appealing with its heroines and mechanics was Love Story, I think a played a Snes rom on an emulator.

And the one that I was most engrosed in time wise (that teached me about multiple routes and endings) was May Club.

The one that teached me a little about corruption and more darker stuff (was still light) was I think Love potion.

I also remember fondly X-Change and Snowdrop (I like the MC jacket that he used in the snow and the washing machine scene)

But on a serious note, the game that made me think "oh shit, games like this can be serious and well written and tackle things in a heavy way, was DiviDead. Left an impression in my young mind. Was like a realization about the potential this games can have. (havent played it again, could be rose colored glasses, but the sentiment is all the same)

Now that I remember, aside from Love Story, one of the first ones, (with almost no adult content) but that sparked my curiosity to this world, was Princess Maker 4. Even if not adult per se, it had certain allure, even mechanically, that i have found hard to encounter in other games.
