I can... vaguely answer this for myself (not claiming I don't also have a mild inflation fetish, mostly as a sub-genre to corruption), others' answers may vary from this. Sometimes you can look past the jank art for good immersive gameplay elements or if the writing is good. I am not excusing this one, but like Mercenary Band NTR and Amor Academy are a couple examples I find appealing even though the art is in the direction of balloons taped to a can of soup.
