after playing VH
I don't like this game it's kinda crazy nobody in the devs them noticed how far it was from the original game
Violated heroine was good because it has variation in emotional spectrum sometimes sad with Ashley,rape etc... But anyway if you decided to play a non virgin run the game was not trying to punish (serena is ultra corruptible in VH)you and your character could turn into a bitch right after her first time, there were even love relationship (mostly nanako being a lesbian, and that dude from escort mission) or having babies
But this one is just about violence , imagine if VH was this serious, devilman and berserk
would have looked like the Teletubbies
(Also can someone explain me that black baby abortion thing that came out of nowhere from hentai ? In the game that Cecilia girl is said to often abort, and I felt like a pattern am I the only one having this feeling ? why there is so much evil black guys in hentai now ?
And why so much birth hentai content is related to loli do I miss something or everyone is just copying each other)

i don't think it was ever intended to be that close to the OG VH, although, unhelpfully, that hasn't stopped it from avoiding those associations
the lack of personality development for serena is a real let-down. even a glorified VN would still have plenty of room for that within the narrative. it's such a shame bc i was looking forward to this, the art is awesome, but there's just nothing of the original VH magic in it.

I agree that in this game abuse is exaggerated, but although it's front and center, it's written well and I see it a part of overall narrative and world building, might also see it as main antagonist. And I don't dislike having games that narratively explore violence sometimes.
"Black thing" in JP games doesn't surprise me. I right away recall Words Worth ep3 where Menza and the other dude fuse into "black thing" and have nice tentacle-r*pe-brainwash scene with Delta. So "black thing" is pretty OG thing with JP guys. In game, I think I read a few times that abortion is forbidden by church, so maybe black-thing is why its forbidden (I personally call "black thing" Curse), once again, world building and narrative. It also was a banger final boss to wrap the story and have MC be a badass. Black thing also has a ghost-fetus attack that hunt your MP, I only had 1 goblin chasing me, maybe its from girl in guild that tells to bring gobobaby to slum-store, maybe if one had dozen abortions one had stronger attack.

Yes that why I compared it to devilman, it's written like a seinen not a hentai, psychological aspects are much more explored than erotical, desire, love, physical aspects which makes the game very hard to fap when you pay attention to the context and it's a very big flaw for a hentai, imagine if all netorare games had a divorce phase, depression and drugs a suicide route, or mariage don't work because of the desire society and the capital placed before human etc, route with your character starting a Marxist revolution
or if Loli games where depicted as you know.......how are we supposed to fap at this
(to be more precise in fact you can writte your game as you want art is limitless but if you choose to do it the way they did with the same berserk like inspiration you have to do the same thing berserk did which is put a theme, berserk is not only violence there is various reading levels the life of soldier who try to found a way of life, yet haunt by his past which we can interpret as demons etc...
this game do not have a reading level as deep as its violence and the open world/not that open format dont help much into consistency and its very far from the original material which is as violent but with a heroic/fantasy/comedy/eros/who care of your choices aspect that make it far less heavy and offer some reading levels other than feeling anxious because everything can rape you and basically put you in a bad end route )

Yeah, nobody reported it till then. If a link gets taken down it is because it is because one of your fellow users reported it.
I suppose that's how moderation of user generated content tends to go. I thought there were controls on who could create threads, hence my confusion, but maybe those controls are more permissive than I thought.
This game isn't based on VH, it's based on VH - Katteban. It's significantly darker than this

100% agreed, Katteban makes this look absolutely tame compared to what Rosemary puts Serena through in that.

So I just want to verify something. The "official" EN translation the Dev put on DL site, which is just an AI translation, all newer released versions of the are untranslated when using it, right? I like using it because it at least translates the UI... Is there like an updated version that translates the latest version of the game as well?
