Maybe save it so it stores it on your pc aswell. In case you didnt know and as far as i know when you download via the mega website and not the app it basically downloads it and once its done you can choose to save it or open it. If you dont press save it would not save it on your pc but treat it as a temporary file, that is then (and im not too sure about that) deleted or can maybe still be found in your Temp folder.
