OK, now I hope someone mentions a game as good as The Nightmaretaker. Solid J game. I Walk Among Zombies was also a decent VN that didn't really go anywhere, but I didn't like the zombie scenes because they aren't alive anymore. The only thing I can think of is The Imperial Gatekeeper. Maybe Peasant's Quest. Also, there seems to be a lot of games with a (smartphone) app in them. Excuse my metaphor, but seaweed is an acquired taste. Enter Japan with supposedly top-tier taste.
