I believe there is a rule that if a game has not released a new update for a certain amount of time (over a year), it gets the abandoned tag, even if the dev has been active and posting development progress. Same thing happened to Long Story Short. The status of the game was in limbo, but the original creator assured everyone that the game was not abandoned. Still, even though they were active and kept updating about the future of the game, it was eventually tagged as abandoned because no updates were released for well over a year. But the tag was removed once the new version of the game came out.
This game being tagged as abandoned doesn't mean it's actually been abandoned. The dev posted progress updates. Once the new version is released, the abandoned tag will be removed.

Are you telling them to update it, or are you asking if it was updated, or are you telling them it was already updated?
Real ones or just stupid bullshit like pictures or such? Been way longer than reasonable since an update.

It sucks that this game got abandoned, it had so much potential and some a good storyline I do hope someone else makes another game like this or try to remake it

I hear you all... I really do.10 months since he posted on Patreon, I don't like our chances.
I wish I had a clear answer on when the update will be released.
I'm trying my best, but I have literally maybe 0.1% free time with my PC to work on it.
I'm also trying to check on a different way to make it possible. I'll let you know if there is anything actually real that might get the project forward.
I know it's annoying to not have any regular updates from me about what's happening, but I'm not sure what else I can say.
I prefer making statements when I actually have any progress to report and not just repeat the fact that I can't find the time to finish this project.

It might sound stupid, but a post here or patreon, monthly or so, just saying "Still alive, still no time to work on it, nothing to report". would help most people (some will complain no matter what). It's when a dev starts ghosting that people start getting antsy.
That's my 20cents anyway.
PS - good to see it's still in your thoughts to complete it. Hope all is well with you and yours.
