I'd love to hear what players think :)

You won't believe me, but you described it exactly as I imagined it, and I really like that. I imagined it in such a way that I would do the sex scenes from such an "artistic point of view." I don't have to create raw porn scenes at all costs, but maybe give it some romantic atmosphere, focus on facial expressions, touches, and many other things that could be created in the process. The only truth is that I saw this as something that no one would accept, and they would look at me as a fool, so I decided not to create those scenes at all.

Do you think that such processing of those moments would be good? Because I personally would be satisfied if I could do it like this. And you're right; you can never impress all the players, and I'm counting on that. Besides, I think that people from the music business, with whom I have some kind of cooperation, would probably not be very happy if their music ended up in a total porn game.
Yes, I would think they could be good. What matters is the execution.

That's from a recent review of my project, and I believe it is a very good representation of it. I haven't gotten a ton of support but I'd rather have 50 supporters that are all highly engaged with the story and characters than 200 that are screaming "MOAR SEX PLZ". It's why I'm making what I want to make. Money is great and all, and I hope at some point I can get those 200+ highly engaged players/supporters, but it's not worth being miserable over.

Yes, absolutely, there are people out there that would enjoy such a project/story/game. Keep in mind, this is a process. Be consistent, be creative, and be faithful to the creation you want to make. If you don't give up, it will work out in the end.

Um... I'll try. However, basically, they will swear regardless of whether there is such a thing or not, so it probably doesn't matter. I have nothing to lose and the most to gain :ROFLMAO:

I agree with this. I like how you feel about it, so I hope that you will do even better.

There were nights when I didn't sleep because I wanted to render and create more scenes. It cost me a lot of money, work, and especially time, so giving up would be completely out of the question in this case. Even if it wasn't successful, it doesn't matter; I gained a lot of experience and learned new things, and I can try again with a different creation. The world won't end.

Can you be interested in a game today that is based on a story and does not contain sex and decisions?
Well the answer is a double edged sword, IMO.
I find the fuck anything with a breath hurr-durr MC with women lining one behind the other overused asf.
But, at the same time, if you line up a good premise, good characters, and most important believable situations that end in the MC starting a relationship with more than one woman; hell yeah I'm totally onboard. If you want examples, I'd say Mad World by Capella for one. I am not a huge fantasy fan but his game has good lore, believable characters and good premise, so MC having relationships with many woman is done well. Another example that does this many LI MC similarly well is The Seven Realms by SeptCloud . There are many such like Ataegina, Maids and Maidens, Reluctant Archon etc.

Yet, my biggest issue is having to choose between LI's that I like. If you want me to choose one instead of the other, do multiple playthroughs, you lose me there.

I've never really been interested in sex, sex animations, and the main character having a relationship
These are the reasons I assume people are here on this particular forum, and not elsewhere.
The moment Kinetic Novel tag is placed, a portion of the audience is lost.
The moment No sexual content is placed, another major portion of audience is gone.
I too joined here to find games with good stories, but I'm not saying that no one would play it, only some, including me will try it solely for the story. I'd say try Itch like others have suggested or some other platform.

Really? I would love to see such scenes! For example, I was very impressed how in Summer's Gone were made Amber's therapy sessions with MC. Her touches, pose - it was so erotic that making her blouse semi-transparent was unnecessary. I really like atmosphere in those scenes.
I hope that if you happen to come across my game one day, you'll feel the same way about the rest of my game, not just the pictures.
Hope I will be ok and still have electricity and internet when you release your game. I really want to try it.

To tell the truth, Ocean was definitely a big inspiration for me because he showed that the visuals can be processed differently than what everyone else does or what we are used to. I'm not saying that I tried to copy or do it exactly like he does, but I liked the visual design, so I had no reason to make it worse. If you have a big imagination, you can do anything. For me personally, the only limit is my hardware. While Ocean has €6,000 in graphics cards at home, I'm doing with an RTX 3060 for €400, so I can't afford to do anything I can think of.

Well, if you want, send me a message with a contact (for example, discord), and I will be happy to contact you when I have the final version of the first chapter in my hands. To be honest, I would really like someone to test it, play it, and write some feedback before I publish it. But it's just an innocent offer, and if you're not interested in it, everything's fine.
